I linked this site in the what are you reading section today, but they said they don't want links because they are hard to read. Maybe I'll cut and paste the text instead of the url next time I read something.

Oh wow! Well thanks for trying to let people know that you were reading here, Aracadia. (and thanks for reading here! ;)) Just curious.... are there any other links in the "what are you reading" section?

LOL! just saw your post, firsty ...

Geesh, imagine an internet where nobody was allowed to link to any other site because the text was too hard to read.

Ya don't have to READ it, for crissake! All ya gotta do it CLICK it!

That's why they call it the internet ... a network of computers interconnected.

You said it better than me, tho. :D

Well, I can't reproduce the first Editor's note because is gone, also my answer to them. Today I found this (more polite) in their place:

Editor's Note: Hi Arcadia -- links are fine if they are within some explanatory text, etc. but aren't really useful to readers passing through just as the URLs themselves -- I hope you'll tell us more about what you're reading. Thanks.

They are not idiots, I like them (well, I have to say that sometimes I like idiots too). Maybe they are formally cuidadosos in a selective way now. Let them be and post if you want.
