I think it's a great idea. I'd certainly like to animate mine...in more ways than one!

I had this brainless idea that it would be kind of cool to put together some moving pictures, read a shitty-ass poem over it and post the mother...doesn't that sound scintillating. I thought to mash together some of my own images that perhaps pertain to a poom I've written and then in my own fab mousey voice recite it with pomp and circumstance. I think it would be possible to do in Windows moviemaker.

I don't know...probably another project I'll never do. But don't you think it would be kind of neat. I know that I like listening to Lrod and Doreeny performing some of their stuff and it would be nice to have the added visuals...you know...to help hold the interest of the listener...if need be...er...I guess the word is enhance. Enhance, that's it!

Fine! Fine! Be like that!

I love those! Thank you for sharing that link!

I was thinking of creating some animated poems some time back.

I only tried it once a couple of years ago... this is a pretty lame attempt.. lol... I wrote the "poem" which wasn't even a poem really, as I was creating it. I can't even remember what software I was using. Just trying something out and this is what I came up with.

You'll need Quicktime Player to see it... It's free

I'd love to see your animated poetry, mousey1! Go for it!

Ah Doreen, nifty. I like it, it would have been nice to hear you reading it though. I like having a piece read to me by the poet...throw some apropos images into the bargain to enhance the experience, tickle the cerebral cortex with visuals, what more can you ask from a poem.

Yes, maybe I'll give it a shot. I can see it would be a tad time consuming though, choosing the correct images to convey what you want without looking too dorky in the process.

and then of course attempting to read it with some oomph and not sounding like a laughable drone.

thanks for the encouragement...I may just tackle it for the fun if nothing else.
