Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

Back in New York from a crazy weekend performing in Cabaradio and I must say, what an incredible time spent in the company of some fine, talented creatures! Doreen, Clay and Barry dedicated much to make this show successful and I applaud their work and their unwavering resilience. It was quite the experience meeting such a great band of comedic and entertaining fellows and I can't wipe the grin off my face when I remember 5-and-9-ing Stupid Bob and watching L-rod pulling out his secret pack of pell-mells when he thought no one was looking...

Thank you for letting little old me be a part of big old Cabaradio, with all its luminous acts and enlightening people. I'll carry the memories with me always.

To all- Unfortunately, I didn't take ONE photo.. my camera was MIA... finally found it today under a stack of never-ending script revisions.

But Barry took some photos so we'll get copies of those and post them and Denise videotaped both shows so we'll get some clips up some time!

DC was fucking hot and there were WAY too many cops loitering around the block where the venue was.

but the show was fucking great. i cant wait to see the video clips.

if the entire world fails to purchase DRtom's CD, it will be a travesty. next, i plan on listening to rene's CD, but so far i havent been able to bring myself to remove tom's CD from the player.

You got a Dr. Tom CD? Mannnnn.... didn't know about it...

after reading this, I just asked Clay he says we have one too... gonna go listen... the man's a fabulous guitarist & songwriter!

I've got quite a few Rene CD's... not to be missed! Another very fine guitarist and songwriter.... I'll post a link to his CDs too once I figure out where the links are! hah!
