I never wanted a San Cayetano stamp. But today I have one. May I put it on the fridge's door with the delivery numbers, or in a cajon, or throw it to the trash or give it to someone really want it? (it's at some point totally crazy to spend time thinking about what I have to do with a five per four centimetres cartoon with a wheat spike?, but here I am..!).
A little history: yesterday was San Cayetano's day, the most popular saint in our country. People go to his temple specially in his day to ask for job or to thank for the job. Lot of people use to go (his name sounds italian but I don't know his story). He's like a celestian agencia de empleos...and during the misa the obispos of every city use to talk about important celestial agenda topics at the moment. This year, as I read in the newspaper, was the security in the streets and a strong position against abortion.
So, the mother of the 6 year kid with atentional disorder that I'm helping with math that lives in my building came today with the stamp and a big smile in her face: "Helllllo!!!. This is for you, it's bendecida!!!, but.... I don't see here any... any... (she said that while looking at every corner of my living room)". "Oh... I'm only a San Francisco fan...! but you won't find stamps of him there... and I already have job and a bakery next door" , I said laughing. "You never know..!!", she said and she left the stamp on the table.
mmm...maybe the fridge's door...?
