I think Dell has the best tech support I have ever talked to. They would even talk to me on out of warranty issues. Try that with Compaq/HP. You can't even get through to a human being if you are out of warranty.

Now can we get back to talking about those shit bags in the middle east?

for the record, and to submit MY two bits:

i LOVE my dell. i bought a dell powerhouse laptop in summer '04 cuz i'm always on the go, and it's still the bomb, two years later. it never crashes, it looks great, and it performs like a dream.

however, i will truly admit that i'm on the ropes with the mac cult. those religious freaks have finally gotten through to me, and although it's a super tough decision to make, i am considering switching styles and getting a really nice macbook pro as my next laptop. i have never denied mac's superior quality, but i have always KNOWN the pc way better... so i've always been intimidated of making the switch. reading last month's "consumer reports" finally put a solid nail in the coffin of my pc commitment: the mac laptops ranked nearly 20% higher than any pc, in EVERY category except price. i think i'm sold.

now i just have to take that deep breath and spend the serious dosh!

now that macs can run windows natively, there is absolutely no reason to buy a cock-burning dell laptop. you gots to get down with the forbidden fruit, my friends.

OSX is pronounced o-sex. o baby. gimme a bite.
and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.
