Peace Jam
Do you want me to unlock the Peace Jam and keep it going either in the Jam Session forum or in the GO forum?
Or just let it rest in peace?
Whatchya say? hmmm?
Some great insights in there... thank you all!

i say we take the peace jam to the streets.
there was an especially nice part in there where a few of us riffed on dylan lyrics/verses. it would be cool to turn the peace jam into a few folk songs or something.
even if some of us recorded some of the posts.
then we could distribute the mp3s to some peace-friendly sites.

and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.

Got a mic to stick into the jack in the back of yer mac?
You can download audacity for free... a pretty simplistic recording app...
it's here
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
You probably can also use Garage Band for recording (i donno 'cause I haven't used it yet but I think Clay has)...
Anyway, record away, save as wavs, import into itunes and it will convert them to mp3s, then email them to me and we'll publish them here on Studio Eight.
Also, you might like to contact Michael Bonanno as his "Peace is Possible" is going to be a collaborative effort and he's looking for voices, I'm pretty sure.
I told him I'd get back with him after the show about the project.... and it's after the show!!! so I guess I should so that, huh?
Would you like to continue jamming on the page? I can unlock it if people want that.
Thanks for your participation, firsty...

it's up to you about putting the thread on GO!. i have mixed feelings about it.
i think my company's laptop has a built-in mic. i'll record my stuff. i'll contact michael about the dylan-esque string.

hi Dor
I like the idea of a perennial peace jam. Since my online time has considerably shrunk (almost beyond micro), i'd love to have the option to jam whenever i can.
So, i'd be happy with an unlocked lock.
And may firsty's enthusiasm contage and be contagious. (how i wish!)
