Post by WIREMAN » November 1st, 2004, 7:05 pm

......since the last election when I threw my t.v. set out the window, I've tuned out I must admit.....today I thought I'd check out the polls on Omar's puter at work and found out this is a close one for sure.....very depressing thought ......I feel a whole lotta tension in everyone's writings these days and can't say as I blame everybody.......I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict Kerry cause I honestly feel that the good America will stand up against all this Bushshit that's been going on.....anybody else wanna make a prediction????????????........wired mark

It's sick what's happening in this world and I hate to say these two things, but here's what I think

1- Bush will win again and there will be a big upheaval once again about the voting mechanism and whether it was up to snuff.... there are several states this year which are allowing voting early by US mail... that will be a problem... there have been stories about democratic registrations being thrown away. It's all in the works for him to steal another election. There will be chaos in this country and the world as a result of this.

2- Even on the off chance that Kerry wins, he's just a similar guy with a different face, essentially, when it comes to foriegn policy, anyway. I am afraid he also works for the big corporations and has a similar mindset of taking over the planet. I don't think he thinks he's God, though, like Bush does!!!! But his talk of "hunting down and killing terrorists" is hawk talk bullshit and he scares me, too.

So, either way, if I'm wrong and America becomes America again which is what I HOPE, I'm going to stick around. If I'm not wrong, we very well may be looking for a new country to call home.

I am embarrassed for this country and the whole thing scares the shit outa me. They've made it a religous war. 100,000 people have died over there already, a large percentage of them, civilians. This is way worse than Vietnam and it could go on for a long long time.

I don't think we'll know the outcome of the election on November 3rd. I think it will take a few days.

And after that, I don't think we'll know the impact of what the election of either candidate will do to us for another year or so. If it's Bush, be prepared to lose more of your civil rights rather quickly and for continued attacks and occupations on countries which have not attacked us. If it's Kerry, I don't know what to expect but "KILL the terrorists" and "join world forces" reeks of WW111 to me.

I'm depressed.

I'm going to vote for Kerry tomorrow, but only because I'd vote for ANYONE to get Bush out of the White House.

But I do it reluctantly. There are no real choices.

It's scary as shit.

Kerry will win... I don't vote for losers! :)

Unfortunately, whoever wins the electoral vote the other side will not recognize it and the unrest and divide may very well continue.
