Since it's Thanksgiving week and all, I have to ask....
What are you thankful for?

I am thankful I can see, hear, feel, walk, talk, laugh, cry, smell the flowers and enjoy the sky. But I live in Canada so Thanksgiving has long since been digested along with the turkey and the punkin' pie! :)

What are you thankful for ms prynne?

i live in germany, where thanksgiving isn't called thanksgiving, but "harvest thanks festival" (erntedankfest), and happens sometime in early october, when churches are decorated with sheaves of grain and fruits from the fields.

yet i am also thankful today - still, and again, and despite and because of it all.

thankful for life continueing to offer.

Well, to start with ... I'm grateful to Doreen for creating this place to come where I can come from time to time to post and hang out – Thank You Doreen! – and that I have a sound, working computer that lets me enjoy doing this.

I’m grateful for a great many things … my family, friends, and some great opportunities that have come to me of late … but most of all for the wonderfully humorous irreverenecy that’s found it’s way back into my life. What a blessing!

Irreverent things like ...Borat

.... and it's interesting to come back here and find no one talking about any of this.

Wow (surprising).

I'm thankful you posted this thread, hest. Good to see you.

I'm thankful for this website and all of you who grace us with your talents.

I'm thankful for a job that supports me and allows me to work from my home.

I'm thankful for my mother's reasonably good health. Sometimes I feel as old as she is and on those days, she's doing better than me.

I'm thankful for my beautiful intelligent creative daughter and my arrogant loving son. lol

I'm thankful for my partner and I haven't killed each other yet.

And I'm thankful for my bed because I need a nap.

Oh yeah.... before I go take that nap, I'm also thankful for all the material you all sent me for this book we're putting together and I'm thankful for a coupla days off so I can work on it. I haven't had a moment yet to consolidate it into one document so that's on my agenda for the holiday weekend.

That and painting the trunk black. I'm thankful for the advise of the paint salesman and I'll be very thanking the paint gods if they help me keep the paint where it's supposed to go.

I'm also thankful I'm still alive and thankful for the gym and scrabble boards which are the two things that help me keep my sanity.

PS - thanks, Deb... gonna see if I can find a film clip of this Borat guy. Never heard of him. LOL!

Sometimes I'm thankful for my ignorance but not this time. I'm curious.

Aha! Here's the trailer for the film
