Chavez instead of Soros

Post by Arcadia » December 6th, 2006, 1:14 pm

When I heard some weeks ago that the Milk Cooperative SanCor was about to be bought by George Soros because its great deudas I felt something near sadness again.
I was surprised with the news that Chavez (the Venezuela Government) will cancel the debt and that there will be argentine milk exported to Venezuela instead.
I have to read the article again and the related notes.

I read it sort of
Babel fish can get surreal sometimes
Our milk supply here controled by a cartel
hardly any local dairies left
they drove most of them out of business.

It sounds like good news?
I hope so

The democrats took control of the US senate. Harry Reid is the sleeze who will be running it come January.
Dairy Industry Crushed Innovator Who Bested Price-Control System

That was when a coalition of giant milk companies and dairies, along with their congressional allies, decided to crush Hettinga's initiative. For three years, the milk lobby spent millions of dollars on lobbying and campaign contributions and made deals with lawmakers, including incoming Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.).
