Is this really NEWS?

Yesterday my friend was visiting. She went to the store in the morning and came back with a Sunday Washington Post. Problem was, it was Saturday. Not that I have a problem with them publishing some of the sections of the paper early, like the comics and ads, etc., but this issue had the front page section published also. I was thinking of checking on the stock page a day early
. Like in "Back to the Future."
But seriously, I don't understand how they could do this! It defeats the whole purpose of "news."
I'm on my way outside to pick up my Sunday delivered Post and I'm going to compare the front pages with the Saturday published Sunday Post.
Do the newspapers where you live publish their Sunday paper a day early? Do you agree that there's something fundamentally wrong with this?
