500 thousand demonstrators in NY...all peaceful.
so why does the media refer to them as "those demonstrators", etc as if they were something bad?
Heck, I'm proud of these folks for protesting....
I'd like to kick the media in the ass sometimes ya know?
sheesh!

it's quite a contrast between the Demo convention in Boston where there were very few protesters. The Boston cops dutifully erected cages for the possible hooligans, but as I recall there were no guests in them.

And now we see a half a million people in the streets "singin' songs and carryin' signs." If they can keep it peaceful it will be a great statement. If they can't it will be a great news story.
