mourning dove calling
feels like maryland in march
snowbird in texas
It feels more like April actually but it was one too many sylabels for the ku.
Feels like easter
but what a hell of a good friday it has been
it is the weather sisters
I will always be from somewhere else
my body running on Baltimore weather
I am out of sync with the south central Texas weather
It feels like easter to me
the calander says February
but the weather feels like Easter
maybe it is a miracle
a quickening
every year I grow more grateful
to see another spring
another ressurection
Jesus meant of the body maybe
for me it is the spritit of the christ with in that rises
maybe my body too
in another twenty billion years
what was that line from "Requiem For A Nun"
"life is to prepare us for being dead a long time." quoted from memory

spring never fails to convince me...
