Torrents! Millions and millions of torrents!

Post by izeveryboyin » February 28th, 2007, 1:36 am

The fact that discovering torrents is the highlight of my week so far might be viewed as kind of sad... unless of course you knew how awesome this lovely program is!! Free downloads of high quality on my computer screen at high speeds. Really, it set my soul on fire, just a little bit. If you're unsure why this brings me so much exctasy, go to http://www.torrents.to , download the program, and open the door to a multitude of free tv shows, movies and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!! Also, http://www.limewire.com can help you acheive nirvana through free downloads, but it is best used for music files only, because all the other media downloads EXTREMELY slow. What do you think about the free downloading phenomenon? To think after all that business with napster I can still get my favorite tunes and shows for free and I don't have to watch it in 4-9 minute clips on youtube. What a world we live in.

I admit, I got bit by the bittorrent bug a couple of years ago and am hopelessly addicted-I talkin' major league strung out. What a great source of stuff and I've never had any problem picking up bugs or trouble via bittorrent. The way I figure it I give a lot, maybe too much, time to the computer and cyber shit so it's my way of taking back-plus getting something real and tangible to hold your hand, clutter up desks, cupboards and drawers and turn people on to audio and video. Yeah, I got it bad. I mean, how many people do you know that have over 600 Bob Dylan concerts on file and cd? Plus a little (or a lot) of a lot of other artists stuff? Man, I got thousands of cds and now that I've mastered the dvd thing the movies, new and old just flow down through the wires like shit runs downhill in a heat wave.

I use http://bittornado.com as a client and I'm a member of tons of tracker sites.

To name a few favorites I use:

http://demonoid.com
http://dimeadozen.org
http://spynova.org
http://piratebay.org
http://tradersden.org

and a shit load of others. Best of all, it's all F-R-E-E!! and I love to collect audio of concerts I've attended either this year or as far back, as in the case of Grateful Dead stuff, damn near 40 years ago. It's the best audio/video deal going around that I'm aware of

Limewire has never given me any trouble. Or if it did, Norton Anti-virus took care of it for me before I ever found out. Torrents is the same. I use tornado too and it's friggin' awesome. My only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner. All those wasted dollars spent on movie rentals and rushing home to catch only the end of my favortie shows. *sigh* I'm so glad those days are over.
