Goin ta New Yawk next Saturday...your fave spot in the apple core??? Oh ya bringin my folio already scouted out some galleries....e mailed them to warn them I'm comin.....

Here, there, and everywhere. I recently realized that I sorely miss the smell of Manhattan. Even when it smelt like garbage. I would highly recommend the Carnegie Deli across from Carnegie Hall. It's yummy.

The closest bathrooms are always in Starbucks. Be warned.
The Village is grand. Bowery Poetry Club advertises on the net -you can check out in advance what's cooking. There are open mic sessions and the pros are pros.

Best of luck with the galleries. Break that artguy leg and show them what they need to see.

I was waiting at a bus stop a week or so ago, and realized that it just smelt like ass. And then I realized of all the places I've been, I missed the smell of New York the most. Even when it was the funky garbage smell.

The deli was just good.
The smell of garbage doesn't attract me anywhere.

(speaking of the village, I would also recommend the Life Cafe in the East Village. E. 10th and (?) Avenue B. Its definitely on E. 10th, and its across from a park. They have a mean peanut butter and jelly with bananas.)

ok so then i presume you're already planning to go to strawberry fields, which is right there.

broadway and 110 is tom's restaurant, which was the outside location for the diner in "seinfeld."

there is a really good mexican breakfast place over there as well, but i cant remember the name.

and it's always fun to fling horse shit at the windows of tavern on the green.
