Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

I'm going to move away from Astoria soon!!!!! That's what I mean by a chapter ends. A friend of mine was talking about that, and it really helps me cope with this change, thinking of it as an end to a chapter. Because that is just what it feels like, living in Astoria now that Stelly is gone east, it's like i'm living on in an ended chapter. I truly feel that if I don't move, I might go batty, in a bad way.
This will be a much more intense transition than just moving into a new space. I'm fairly scared, but it's a good scared. I'm gonna move north back up to where my family is, where I grew up, about 45 minutes north of Seattle. In fact I am here right now in Skagit County, wishing I didn't have to go back to Astoria tommorrow. I had a really good interview here today for a position at a care center. Tommorrow i'm headed back to Astoria to start packing. I'm thinking i'm going to move even if I don't get the job I applied for today. It's easier, I think, to apply for jobs when there is not a long distance to deal with. But it could be risky, as decent paying jobs are not in abundance anywhere. I'm game to take the risk.

Oh man!!! I was so hoping you'd be moving out east so we could hang out together! sighh...... BUT... I'm so happy to hear you are making a change 'cause change is good and it sounds like you need this change bigtime! You will be near your family so that's fabulous!
