Melancholy

The days grow darker earlier now and time melts so the days become one long string of existence...

Winter is a season that harbors melancholia and each day, I seem to slip out of autumn and into the shivering winter tides of life. Ah, the wanton ways of weather.

Life has presented its nuggets of sadness amidst my happiness, but I intend to jump over those puddles of negativity and back into my happy self when my spirit allows it. There can be no true enjoyment of life's highs if one does not endure the somber lows.

Lucy, I love the idea of wanton weather....it's perfect.
I like to mispronounce the word melancholy especially when I'm feeling that way, or feel that around me.

Mel an che loly.
"I got dem mel an che loly blues....."
Hear it? Whistling in the wanton weather?
heh.
ah me.
:D
And lucy, thanks for your response to my ditty in creative writing. I have all this nasty energy in me, it's awful. I take life and elections and other issues too seriously I suppose.
I'm thinking maybe getting it out will help.

Hes, keep it coming, I really enjoy the quality of your work- its literature written like there is a secret behind every line and only you really know it. I like the energy in your pieces, I like not knowing the entire story behind each word, it makes it all the more interesting and complex. Let it all out Hes! I want to discover the secret behind your prose
