Easter, and no Body home

Post by Lightning Rod » April 8th, 2007, 9:18 am

I don't know how to tell you this, children
I went to the tomb this morning
and the rock was rolled away
and there was no Body there
just an angel playing solitare
and listening to the blues on his iPod

this is really shaking my faith
what can I do?

I hope you have a happy Easter
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The messiah's been missin' for quite a spell,
and quite an industry has built up around it.
Absolution, resolution, and money plate.
Good ol' fashioned debt & payment.
God is love, if you pay the bill.
O ancient, holy collection agency...

I tired of the holy books,
so I invited the messiah up for a beer,
somewhere near my left ventricle.
Seems he never really left;
he's just been lying low,
waiting for the holy dust to settle...

Just easter egg day for me,
one of these days I am going to work up the nerve
and pretend I am buying them for my sister's kid and get me some easter egg dye one of those magical kits with that loop of wire for dipping the eggs into the different colored dyes. I begged and begged my parents and grand parents to let us do that.

The messiah turns up and sometimes he don't
not even sure of the origin of that word
I suppose that is why I still say Next year in Jeruselam.
Trying to figure out what Jesus' karma was in a Hindu kind of way. Here is this guy with a buddha heart, and he turns up in the most unlikely of families, but he gets it right, he is out of the loop, except he knows he will have to pull off some quantum mechanical reincarnation two more times.

I don't know, but I like chocolate bunnies

happy easter you heathens.

a quantum mechanical chocolate jesus
I been thinking about voting for that Morman guy former govenor of Massachussettes.

I am a child of the forties
born to be supremely adaptable

So the Dalai Lama makes a lot of sense to me, so I don't sweat the Christian Zombies. They are such well groomed zombies, it must be the result of better skin care, and not a stench of death about them cause personal grooming industry has made miraculous leaps in technology. Denistry too they have have such brilliant sharky teeth,

They are such attractive looking people these days. Nothing scary about them at all.

shit
