I went into an assisted living place today to drop off a res and fill out an app, for a Business office manager position and they interviewed me on the spot after looking at my resume! Then they called this afternoon and want to see me tommorrow morning.
I really liked the place. Good Gut feelings. And the job would be great, it pays great, i'd learn more in the field and and and and and ...................
I've never been an office manager before.....gulp
I'm trying to contain my excitement and hopefulness so I won't be too disappointed if it turns out to be nothing. But say a lil prayer for Hest tonight would you? Even if you don't like me.....
Yeehaw!

you got it.
hot warm thoughts setting out at the speed of positive electron intuition.
My aunt is going to be headed off for such a place down in Arizona, if she sells her house. She's got a few offers but the wonderful energetic woman is losing it fast.
Can the race be won? She'll flourish if she's safely surrounded by stimulation. She wants to go.
Clearly Office Manager of such a place entails a huge range of duties with a large compassionate heart to make sure that all runs for the right reason.
break a leg, hester.

Okay so I got da job. I start Friday, 8 to 4:30, (close enough to 4:20 for me. )
To be honest, I'm simply and quietly elated. This is the next step on my path to becoming an administrator for one of these facilities. How did it happen so easily? I have to not ask myself questions like that.
I'll learn about payroll, ap's ar's, computer programs that do all that, i'll learn about how payments work, troubleshoot, work with staff, hell I'm third in command there!!!!! I'll learn where all the money really goes,

This job will give me more authority to take good care of our elders. I'll have a voice instead of a shovel. That's the best part of all!
And i'll be making good dough. They're even gonna fly me to pocatello idaho for a training. reminds me of a song. "I was born in a trunk in pocatello Idaho". yadda yadda. I'm just whistlin a happy tune. I intend to do well at this......whisper it again and again in my head....
So, the re-creation is happening. This facility is very near the one where i'll be doing some sing alongs wid folks.
Next up, house/apt. hunting.
Thanks for you're good energy, it's powerful indeed!

That there are people who value people in such a way that you can say this is the best part. Awesome! Blessings!
