give me the take
let's slice the cake
finally free with a
jammin' chance to be
and the instruments waitin'
on the left, my sweetie
sleepin' up above, me write
a story -D?....always seems
to turn into poetry....me waitin'
at the ready, does anyone
wanna lay down some lines and
rock steady............................................

mother sister daughter

Paste for mother and child

Medusa and her daughter

'Green as eunuchs, your wishes
Hiss at my sins
Off, off, eely tentacle
there is nothing between us' (16 October 1962)

Medusa and her granddaughter
'It was years before I dug her out
From where her shadow lay, like a bloodstain
Beneath the black stones
I had weighted her down with' (Frieda Hughes)

*** *** ***
i Am a fortunate son
not to be born a daughter
I ask myself why
why do I think I understand her

I am happy to see her face at my door
when the two of us are together
I feel the disembodied voice of our mother
the first thing I ask her
Jewish mother that I am
are you hungry?

I'm quakin, man. who knows what'll happen in fifteen minutes when
6 o'clock hits me in the nose and the I have to
break to the coffee room to tone
it down.
Then ya see, I figured chain-smokin would eventually
FUCK ME OFF but instead I think
It just makes me crazy. When's it nine o'clock, ya think? does anybody read my song?
sometimes I just like to breathe.

he dreamt of you
in a burka
a shadar
a veil
a machine
a dungeon
a cell
a prison
a grave

is he still your pal

he decapitates angels
a poet
an artist
a fluteplayer
a buttfag
a whore

SO?

if I solicit you then you might listen
perceive
crave
bend over

joined the mafia,
pencil protector
n all,
polyester
malebolge
out of the galley
endlessly
missing,

I was wise before I was naive
valedictorian in a rugged school
but I was a fool for finance
and knew that working wasn't cool
In fact, it's a good way to starve to death

my needs are simple, but not my desires
a jug of tequila, a loaf of hash, a book of porn and thou
I would kill the innocent for you
if you bandage my necessity.

'I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood. I had, as I now think, vainly flattered myself that without very much bloodshed it might be done.'

work ain't always a four letter word
if you are lucky enough
a fortunate son
to go your own way
which is the holy grail
to live a life of one's own
as cut throat and decadent as is our capitalist home, it used to be free still is but for how long
as Nitzke said
God save us from the improvers of mankind
to kill the the innocent we must kill the children
who else is inocent

the fork in the road
this time has taken a turn
to the darkend forests
of transylvania, I am sure
of it, warm bosom of my
eternal desire awaits my
submariner action play...........

you can solicit
my explicit lust
descriptions,
perceive them
as porn, retrieve
my innocence
as tornequet -desire,
annihilate my foolish
dire perception
by starving my
simple needs,

but you cannot
force me to bleed
on stage.

and i will not
bandage rage
nor fury with
a redemptive
gaze.

i offer solace,
not servitude.

anticipate
my lips
on your
wound.

let us not
murder language
by defining
love by
a beg -

i implore
you.

My name is Dracula
and I live in a gated community
called Gulag Heights.

I have eternal insurance
and every thirty years
I get a new wife
if I don't bite too hard

I arrived in America on a Zeppelin
It's always midnight on a Zeppelin
so it's a great way for vampires to travel
This country has been good to me.

I know what you mean about Luciano
That wimp Frankenstein always gave me a burr too
while I was the cold and sophisticated
he was cuddly in his monstrosity
and full of pathos that could almost pass for human

but as a monster, he was a failure in my book
he lacked the necessary substrate of evil
I let my accountants and my stockbrokers handle that
the wages of mere sin might be death
but pure evil is not working by the hour
for evil you don't get wages but dividends.
