It's a Miracle! 8-pages of the 8-Day Miracle Jam!

Post by Doreen Peri » December 10th, 2004, 7:48 pm

Out of 15 or 18 pages, I can't remember, we were able to restore 8, thanks to the help of our host. Sorry, your images aren't in here. I didn't go in and get all that code. Our host restored this much from a backup! It is a MIRACLE! Yes! I removed your location and post # info and formatted the bold names.... Sorry, I couldn't post these under your names, but that's not possible........ Here 'tis

here
we'll be coming
together to drive
away the night

our words and souls
made of coal
and flames

the darkness
is yielding to the light
we will survive

our lucent lives
fiery clear

the glow
our song
our aim

the infra structured latitude

the electric beatitude

give me a sign!
a sound
a clue!

give me a little bit of extra
ordinary miracle jam
will do

intrinsically implicit

and a candle will bow

A shine on
A chance coincidence
A sunfilled dusky creme eclair

a little bit of true

a little miraclighted jam
a bite or two will do!

let me tell you that
Gabriel is cleaning

it's a miracle to be understood

uncork those stanza stoppers,
pour out verses, spill your rhymes,
feed me your spontaneous,
i'll lick up every line,

I got my cobra snake neck tie
been to the bottom of a settle
for a rocket full of emotion......

twisted round the invisible on
another star floatin' power, got
ridden to oblivion, train ride to the
other side.................................

I got my collar pulled up just right
took a lesson from the turtle, fact is
it'll take the shirt right off your back
leave ya feelin' run over, face down
in the clover....................................

finding youself filled with silence, right
or wrong, ain't no up or down, it's a
tightrope you just gotta roll and stroll
with confidence...................................

looking back on all those confusions,
unfullfilled illusions, could leave ya alone
with the bed covers pulled over your
head.....................................................

it's a positive wake-up call as easy as
1-2-3.....caught in a life's rhythm, the
only chance to be.....cause we are living
in a garden and I'd like to beg your pardon,
it's all so easy to see..........................................

What's this?

talk of stars and miracles?

and me with the taste of bagels
still on my tongue, mine
without jam

my preference was
(not to seem cynical)
for sun dried tomato

but let me be explicit
about this miracle of
sun of dry of tomato:

there was a time last summer
it might have been possible (if improbable)
to dry a tomato in the sun

then gently mix it with cream cheese
in hopes of spreading itself around
the hole at the center of some bagel

in hopes of entering my open mouth
of desire, drooling with a sort of
dreamy but reverant lasciviousness,

to become a part of my body mind soul....
but hope of that has passed for a time
traded for an ocean of cool grey mist

time that one friend or enemy
that is in all our lives
it rolls the dice and spins the wheel of fate
to which all is decided in the end
when it does come are we ready
couldn't we all have just a little more time
to do the things we wated to do in our lives

cool grey mist

they would watch
it disappear.

we gonna need a miracle
to set this ship asail
(we goin' down)
can't seem to lift this
plane off the ground
(it's for the birds)
we're sitting silent in the darkness
and no one's gotta match
gotta wait
for the sun to come around.

not even the alarm could be heard

was that all this here dreary drama is (not)
some kind of dream and me believing it
bowing my head and swearing

flicker flight
beam so strong
it glows all night
true and steady
eight days a week,
walls are ghosts
so take a peek,
see through edges
drawn by laws
melt like candles
become new cause,
knead old wax,
burn it new
a million more miracles
right in front of you.......

out here we know no boundaries... out here our eyes blled miles of stars and stripes forever (though slightly more unpatriotic) and thus we're all a buncah "bastards and shits" with nothing more to do but be alive!!! Be alive in this impossible living mind, and try to breathe before the sun runs out.

thighs that ripple and touch man's dreams, who said we had to mind thier screams
Eyes that pull the big cock in, who said we couldn't live in sin
ass and breasts that go on forever, who said we wanted sunny weather.
Evening news at five o clock, junkies hooking round the block, inside view is whatcha got. Violence on the streets. Just give a girl those big ole thighs and kill her in the sheets.

We must remember this,
a dish is just a dish,
a thigh is just a thigh,
the undulating things
all die
as time goes by.

But when two poets jam
Their souls go on the lamb
beyond the moon and sky
don't matter what the
future brings
as time goes by.

Sonnets and couplets
never out of date
spontaneous creations
from jealousy and hate
sometimes there's nothing
with which you can relate,
that no one, can deny.

someday I'll write a story
about all my loves and glory,
it's a case of do or die,
the world will always welcome
writers
as time goes by.
as time, goes by........

Roethke a cool ol dude
could write poesy:
I Kant a bit instead
"rage warps my clearest cry to witless agony"
as he said, pre- psychotropic times;
instead of mystery or hushed
suburban mornings with
Die Tannen-bomb
let's get to the cannibal feast
in the manger and be done wit it

I reliquished my licence to poesy
(to be honest, it was revoked)
at a young age in judgment
I'm the cleanest psychopath
you ever saw. I'm an anatimic bomb
I eat bon bons and watch soaps
while my husband works
I started my juvenile philosophy
at the age of seven come eleven
and the jury is still out

she was a bittersweet
dilletante, a wheelchair-
ridden twin of her sister,
falling off perception
by a brake on

poor old lady
forgotten in
a funeral
home

it wasn't her fault!
somebody pushed her!

pushed by fate
she sits in a thigh high cast
alone in a shadowy stupour

she forgets her name
till she reads the writing on the wall
fire exit! that's me, she sighs

being or not being,
that was their question.
meanwhile, she thurbered her way
into the mystic,
wanda wanda in hand,
irreverant of aim,
luck being a lady and all,
she hit
the bang,
before
it could whimper.

fire exits the sky-high
cast of shadows
when Night
forgets
Her name,
memorized
only by the
Morning
Her paramount

shadows
are hot,
sighs,
permanent.

lies are
the
enemy
of miracles.

send up
smoke signals.

HURRY!

Caesar Romero was an actor, not a salad dressing
how do I know these things, you ask
yes, there are faults in my punctuation
and my speling is less than purfect
but I have paragraphs of love for you
and the swagger of my sentences
is just the demonstortion of my lust.

The lamp is burning low and blue
the picture of conservation
the wick is stingy but prudent

we will last the night

her memoirs lurk in the wings
taking a bow
where no audience lingers
aura to aura adrift
set off to music from other worlds
a winsome chord
in a celestial encore

croon in magic syllables
editing, redefining,honing
a stroke like this
and a restroke
a toke like this
and a retoke

is there no end

If I could last the night
with firefly fights, flights
of fancy dances, toe-shoe
points blocked in while toes
bleed in an attempt to stand
upright with imaginary support,

i would become an arabesque
to your heartbeat, plead the vacant
stage with a leap, keep pirrouettes
reserved for you

in a lamp
with oil enough
to burn for eight days

do you know how important
smoke signals are? do you understand
the need to communicate with blankets
and embers?

do you know?
do you know?

do you comprehend
catapult-dreams?

what seems like a miracle
often has enemies....

there is a difference
between ragtime and jazz.

give me both
and i will send up
smoke signals until
you believe.

we've burned holes in blankets
with the coals of
cold desire

communication in it's oldest form
tom-toms and hand signals

still you can't know
you can never know

my lust is a cannon
artful artillary synchopated
beyond the regime of jazz

Let's get it done
let's get it done,
add a couple letters
to the revolution
you are ready for this
steady or not,
whittle your canyons,
to a face on a rock,
there with the stars,
you'll be every night,
curtains always open
no entrance, no stage right.

takes the blame,
highs and drys
too wild to tame,
but you see for me
it was never a game;
this ladder here
bears my name,
pull my rankles,
inhale my shame,
but you see for me
it was never a game,
plastic shrapnel
takes the blame

I have decided to reconcile love for want.
I have decided to taunt the idea that the possibility
existed. I have decided to resist blanketed holes
told in lust-prisms. this is the miracle. we are
all cannon fodder, synchopatated allthatjazz
reconciliations or artilliary fire.

it's you and me.

e-dog
those missing 10 pages were splendid
you were spontaneous light pouring neon through the thread
your words may not be saved for posterity
but your contribution was enormous.

jam on, if you can
the jam goes til tomorrow night.

e-dog.. i am so sorry.. i wish i were a miracleworker... it is an honor to have the host we have.. they restored as mush as possible for us at no cost.... i just saw this post of yours now... please save your writings...... there are no guarantees on the internet... i'm no techie and somehow the thread disappeared but i was elated to be able to restore as much of it as possible....your posts are missing from the document? i'm so sad....... i wish there were a way to bring them back...... i am so sincere.... believe me... our documentation means the world to me....... i could tell you how sausage was made and the nitty gritty details of a disappearing thread, but you would be bored by the description.... thank you so much for your input... i am terribly sorry for techical problems..... i could scream like james cagney, "i'm INNocent! I'm INNocent!" but you wouldn't buy that so I won't suffer you with it......... hey.... got some essays for the "great ideas" section? http://studioeight.tv/greatideas.hml? write me..... i'd like to see your work in there, ok? after the holidays i will refocus my lens....... for now, i'm concentrating on a recognition of sorts, new furniture coming soon..... trying to stay focused on lights beyond my own......
