I'm beginning to see
the light, that's entertainment
i kinda knew it all along, that's
why when the boys was sittin'
round the bar and the shots
rang out there lay ol danny mcgrew

there's cream in the cemetery
Cecil B. DeMill and Gene Harlow
in those vaults like marble condos
my S&W cracks and echoes
in the halls of the mausoleum
any eskimo knows that igloo ice
is warmer than polar breath
but the tomb is even colder
than white.

Poor dog

As she squats above the deep white snow
its frigidness touches her jewel and she jumps.
Her second attempt yeilds the same
Finally she guages the white stuffs depth
and finishes her business

Your Harlows, tex, are rather odd--
Twasn't gene, as in pool, but Jean
as in azur, with a svelte bod,
rose-petalled lips and hints unclean

All genes should be Harlow's
the mother bee of blondness
and blue-eyed rose lips
eyes as blue as steel
on the barrel of a .45
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

REDS!!!!

Buttons and/or Skeltons
did set the hearts a meltin'--
what hopes have Percay Bitch Shelleys
'gainst a horde of Emmett Kellys?

Gene and Emmet Kelly
had common jeans and baggy pants
and when I watch them dance
or try to sweep the spotlight
it's clear as a shot from a gun
or a perfect rhyme
comedy trumps poetry every time
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

Tex: comedy trumps poetry every time
With that yawp, Tex, I shall cuntcur--
clowns do surpass poets, fer sure;
whether Feste, Touchstone, or Moe
Curly and Lar': fools make the show....

I wrote a whole musical about the fool
the jester, the clown

here is a clip of a tune from it.

It's called A Fool's Ballet
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

My Dear Mrs. Smith in Wesson?
sounds like an enjoyable lesson,
one that I would administrate,
and her ass thus exhilirate---

Another gray day
I know that sky is blue beyond this consistent layer
However, after 5 days in a row
My memory is dimming.

Catching up ….

Bottom, page 8:

want my life to turn out right
want the god damn fish to bite
want my kid not pee my bed
want some day to get me wed
want the world to sleep in peace
don't want god to drop our lease

~~~~~oh, SWEET (luv it!)
Doreen always picks fav’s, afterwards
Me ~ I can’t wait, this one’s mine
At least in this moment.
Moving on….lots more pages to go
piss, boobs, and “freaking tiny asses”…
truck stop sex and smith & wesson,
“13 hours no net desperate”
J ~ always the best (sorry, playing favorites again – she knows)
“Playing Catch Up” (a personal Lennie Niehaus fav)
and so I have... however,
I’m not staying
Just enough time to get my jam on toast, yummy fortification, before responding to this beautiful gray morning's beckonings …
walkinme, walkinme, walkinme
....
