The generations shaded by charcoal
smears of tribulation

There are five musical instruments within my reach
oh sure, the guitar needs new strings
and the clarinet asks for cork grease
and the pianos are suspicious of each other

I fly in my flimsy cockpit
ruffled as a carnation

At my fingertips is the world of information
I don't have to budge an inch to go to Bengledesh
or Sweden, Brazil is just a click away from my bosa nova brain
Polkas are possible and I won't mention the jitterbug.
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

I am my
own creation.

Thus, I lust for the
moment, unconcerned with how
I originally arrived.

I am sitting here drinking a bloody mary in your honor, it numbs the pain, when the bear was so pissed at my sister and I would step between him and take the hit, he was always suprisied when I did not go down. she pregnant in a cyclone of emotions and hormones grabs her car keys and heads for the door in a rage. This a woman who has had a car wreck every time rose had a heart attack, so i think he did the right thing, but the last time when he came to get her and we got into it again, I said "all right lets go to it and just let me get as drunk as you before we start" virginia moonshine is holy water jimbo, going to send you some if i ever get it again, meanwhile i cant get these words to slur yet so going to have another sip and toast to you and LIFE

i dunna know jimboloco, he be one of those people that just kind of faded away , he moved to a small town near Krakow. His daughter Elke another one who has not been heard from for sixty years. Probably living in Miami Beach and forgot to write.

I am a racist jimboloco, and trying hard to rise above it, create myself as nothing special, just another guy ya know and nobody special, no I wasn't choosen to suffer

Verse:
G C D7 G
I heard of this famous harp years ago back in my home town
C D Em
But I sure never thought old Daniel be the one to come and bring it around
G D C G
Tell me Daniel how the harp came into your posession.
D C G
Are you one of the chosen few who will march in the the procession?
C Em

I come from a long generation of
sirens and wood nymphs. My sisters
and I decorate the hollows of chestnut trees
with our garments, and when we release
our spirits, our wings become sails.

We are travelers of both air and sea,
maritime journeyers, flight fanciers,
naked in wind currents.

Our solitude seeks
magnolia blossoms to
cover our skin, for we have been
sinners, year after year, through the
millenium.

My sisters and I have been sprites,
houris, dark-eyed virgins. We offer
paradise to gnomes and gallant knights.

Come home, my sweet scented knave
and I will crave your being in a body of water,
the forest, our shield from elements.
Let us drink vintage nectar from a
lotus leaf! Follow me.
Folllow me!

he froze
his nose
to hold
that pose,
might have melted,
nobody knows,
but it's a
fine rose
from which
stilltrucking grows,
that's no suppose,
one look, one knows......

Big Grandma was a medium sized woman
she lived to be one hundred and four
and then she started forgetting things
like the names of her children
and the attacks by Comanches the used
to tell me about. Curved by age she
still made preserves and potato salad to die for.

My metamorphosis is incomplete.
I am a dragonfly, caught in larva,
awaiting the crown. I pose myself
on a bare branch, poised for flight,
yet nightfall erases the satin of a summer
glow by snuffing lantern light, each white
star, a needle poke into velvet fabric, the
sky, my god, the sky, my blindness, the air
teased with honeysuckle aroma and I am stolen
away by the way the music of your voice
chants my name, my dream to change
form and substance, to reappear
in your arms, whole, human,
transformed by your vision
of me.

gnomes and gallant knights,
paradise,
oh tell me the stories,
show me the rites,
don't keep it hidden
don't make it demur
I want rich
naked images,
perfect hims
perfect her;
swathed in leopard skins
peeling kisses and grapes
oh take me away
from this land of miss shape
just for a minute
tell me the sweet,
give me red flavor,
turn up the heat.....
