Jenni Mansfield Peal wrote:Jayne was pink with giddy light
And heavy hair with stardust flight
When fog and dust and street converged
All giddy, heavy sin to purge
A moral tale of slimey paint
Louisiana's southern taint
And once she was but now she aint
No shoes, no smile, no squeal, no faint
A memory in pink
Granite
*applause* i love it!

inching word by word
fourteen page crawl
slowly the mind digests

what is the sum total
of all our lives
the mind smiles

as sun and rain
and barefoot laughter
walk the streets and mountains of life

from there to here
a word hangs in the dawn
birds ready for more

balanced on a thought like metal
bowing out like the tension on a fly rod
suspended on a wire
counterbalanced with an image
supporting a metaphor
spinning from the weight and inertia
a thought like a shining mirror
a pond tucked down in the valley
between verses of evergreen
and wisps of sky now refected

smell the berries and the pinecones
see the nymphs and the rainbow
watch the sky break out in ripples and summer come back as a memory
of peepers and cicada calling
what katy did.

it's a new morn
way past dawn
dreams of ten thousand faces
waitin, waiting
talkin silent words

listenin, jiving, waiting

a new chance
a roll through the crowd
the folks and i
back on the floor
groovin to that timezone boogey

a funny thing happened
while waiting for my words to melt

icicles fell on my brain
splitting hemispheres
disconnecting synapses
overriding manual

my brain chips split
lifetimes dripped on my keyboard
each voice with a separate intent

ancient black holes pulled squatter's rights
obliterating young ovu
and innocent pre-soul priority

funny as i watched
the then and the will be
painting duality

Dawn

Halfway across the world
Where she’s arisen to
Jam on
(toast)

And me?

I’m heading to bed
From an interesting day
One that played
(well with others)

With the last to be
Me being me
In (my) JAM(ies)

Morning
Nite

Quite!

from sleep to sleep
a sober hue
rebounding for
the ancestors
to heal them
you need to tell their truth

they were conquerers
it is true
we the children
lost
wanting peace

sleep
an water
fatigue an thirst
i'm on a survival mission
yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om

to sleep
perchance to scream

the cactus was so cuddly
until i hugged it

to sleep
perchance to steal

the dinner was so tasty
until i ate it

to sleep
perchance to spoil

we haven't gone beyond
beyond

we haven't gone
to sleep

once you've heard the sounds of
NO, Wait!

It's too late
never too late?
ha - late is late

and thus saith the wise pearl

he busts the next one
with but one finger
as the crows in the distance
laugh with derision
the sun has come up
and he has yet to go down
who is right
if no one admits what "the" fuck
is goin on

Down the street from the Taj Mahal
Reveille drifts throug the mist
southern pacific horn toots good moring
fried matzos and coffee in my tummy
a sunrise coming in an hour
if i live to see it
but why wouldn't i
another day in the life of a fortunate son
with beauty on the wire
a blossom waits to bloom

eternal golden dawn(he is alone)

Post by moldyB » February 19th, 2005, 8:48 am

it is a new day for most that live upon this
world so wondeful
creations greatest gift
imposibilities made possible
within this cyclic infinity
happenstance made truthful
there is more to each breath took
it is so simple if you will allow yourself
to become blind
the truth is not in the sentences
but that wich lies between the lines
