2 lips meet

Post by judih » March 19th, 2005, 3:41 pm

2 lips meet
in an amsterdam park
high on market hashish
poetic and flirtatious
groaning with the enormity

the l-a-r-g-e of it All

in the early evening
as minstrels waltz on piccolo avenue
the immensity simmers into possibility

T.S. Elliot was wrong:
it's March.

Spring arrives as an illusion
that the winter is over,
but those brief moments in the sun
etch perennial memories.

We should have learned this
in school while hearing tales
of Camelot and the Cross:
every beautiful thing is bound
for desecration.

The heart is fragile flower.

The Spring Equinox will be upon us
6:33,6:33 AM AM time time when Spring shall return again
Let Persephone return from Hades to Demeter's side
Hail the new begin anew

Hail

Post by judih » March 19th, 2005, 3:51 pm

Hail!
not enough Hail in the world
not enough Hail! to our loved ones
to people who come to help us
to those who offer support on a sunny march day when we fear that sun is to be short-lived

What we need is more Hail!
hello is far too cliché

Hail is for Caesars
-- let them fall
and melt into the ground

i'd rather stick with
hello, how are you,
greetings

or maybe "Holy"
(see Footnote to Howl)

HOly

Post by judih » March 19th, 2005, 4:00 pm

Holy's gone ballistic
holistic
every one and his preacher man chants 'holy' and walks over those who bow down

holy/wholly/whole -e-dog
hole -y
howlin holy allen holy
holy doreen holy clay holy
holy sung in whole toned holiness

holy, holy, holy
holy entity
and holy trumped up density
was einstein holy
is physics holy
is gravity, or centrifugal force holy
how holy goes yin&yang?

holy!
hell no

hail circumstantial evidence of another human form
hail to the fact you've survived this long
hail to your bravery for coming into my space
hail to you for having the courage to look into my face
hail to you and all you represent.
you are a hailer caesar than any heaven's sent

Salute the Eternal Vernal Equinox that keeps it in check
Raise a toast to the approach of the first rays that warm the land
Watch as from white to green can be seen as far as the eye can see
Let's rejoice as in pagan old when celebration went across the Earth and yeah did they jam!!!!

the wondrous folks of jams near and far
whimsical deb in her glorious computer come-back
the one and only whitebird sings revealing her prowess with a sentence and a thought
l-rod and doreen
a mysterious jota cameo

and the usual bunch of jammers and hims
see you when the hours bring me this way once more

awake just in time
for noonday sun
but it's caught beneath
gray clouds
(underneath when
you is lying on back)

i'd sure like some
bacon n eggs
(but being vegan
ain't easy, less so than
being green)
or, as Kerouac might say,
them bacons and them eggs
achins fracons and begs
Boom shacka lack Kerrack
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

as per usual i am late
better late than never for this perusal
and if i spell wrong blame the glitch in my brain
or the season or the region
it's all in confusion and spring profusion
i'm not here long anyway
and sadly missed the first day
sometimes remiss with email invites
but where do i fit in a poetry jam?
i come from unpoetry and sometimes it bites
but take me or leave me
but leaven will greave me
hello to u real poets have a delicious jam
i may come and go i am what i am
greetings to judih doreen wired bud and all
now i must seek dr.pepper
read me, but don't play me backwards
