I've unlocked the Jam early...
If you are here and ready,
let your words flow!

Let the hope and peace,
light and love, unity and reason
for the season show.

GO!~

the call for "Happy"
the song for "Merry"
all for a Peace
but is it really here
on this our one earth
spinning in rhyme and reason
but we are not here

too busy working
for the corporations
too busy dealing
with shortfalls
and longwinded b.s.

make 'Happy'
make 'Merry'
fuck them that don't
they are the shadows
of vultures flying
with gestapo wings
focused on 'Joy'
as if a food for themselves
to sustain their darkness

Light up your lives
and blind the demon dogs
strays of another time
without love
without compassion
without knowledge
without reason
without logic
they do not belong

Across the winter landscape

dark outside, inner shatters
pieces across planetary shell

what's inside is what radiates
follow the light
follow the light

watch the gleam of youthful fervour
and follow the light

I’m enlightened
I hear the news
but the enlightenment
gave me the blues.
No hurricane relief bills
to be passed
cause they want a 20 million tax break
for the richer class.
If you make 500,000 dollars
you won’t pay
but the hurricane victims will.
Isn’t it such cheery news
them mother fuckers
done gave me the blues.

On a lighter note
Santa is coming in his sled.
Will the poor children be fed?
Just another fairytale lie
I sigh.

the inner light
that bathes my dreams
in golden glow
radiating hope
confirming love

i can see
i can see
with or without
what lies outside

Here comes the goverment
Here comes the goverment
Disguised as Santa Claus
With aid for the well to do
The rich for the rich
But what about the poor
Oh we'll get around to.....them......soon
Yeah I've heard it all before

Santa Claus
got lot of balls
Taking credit for the shit I buy
just so the kids won’t cry.
Thinking Santa passed them bye.
Hard to explain to a child the reasons why
no presents under the tree as they cry
thinking they were bad,
Santa passed them by mad.
What a screwed up way to raise children
it’s really a sin.

So

Santa Claus
you got lots of balls,
but no heart because
you are the lie
that makes them cry
as poor parents try
to live the status quo
watching them grow
into angry young men
and women that sin
with out hope
unable to cope
with all the lies we tell them.

enlightenment?
~what the hell is that?!~

~ahhh my ...

maybe, enlightenment is ...

dove dave's snow angel, snowy deck (the halls) joy to see

and those shaking their heads
over those who say their gifts are from santa, when really they aren't.

and S8's candle shinning out bright, all right, all night ... a single flame; so bright

and other's inner radiances beaming in, streaming in, cleaning in, and weaving in and out, clearing out

alll geared to bringing out, and prompt in
the next
best
guest ....

The Upside

Children's eyes
as they spy
the gifts festively adorned,
or the sound of popping corn
to watch A Christmas classic together
nothing could be better.
Sipping Southern Comfort & eggnog
with my wife.
Realizing this is the life.
Forget politics for awhile
learn to smile
and feel the Daze
of the Holiday faze.
Feeling the enlightenment of family cheer
as we celebrate unity
the children, dandy and me.

It aint easy writing happy poetry for the darc poet iblieve but You know it isn't all bad, I find Christmas to be bringing me more smiles everyday because of the children.
Merry Fucking Christmas Everyone

When I see the first snow fall of the year
I play Herr Ludwig Van Beethoven's Allegretto - attacca
It goes so well with the snowy serenity
Ahhh I can just hear it now
