in the name of god, they kill
let there be enlightenment
peace on earth
good will toward men
a prayer that they follow
their own creed and more,
act in heart and deed with love,
abolish war

I think of all the pain
like fire, men and
women scarred for life
inside and out with
no winners, no rewards
war is more than hell
it is insane............

jammin thru my pain
burned by acetylene explosion
a weeks gone by and I'm
just getting or rather trying
to get through what is the worst
pain so far....the jam a diversion
a needed respite...keyboard on my legs
thoughts of getting better blowing
in the trees.....jammin thru the pain.............

let's light a candle
for Pocho Lepratti and his bike
died while working and shouting what was necessary
five years ago
let's light a candle
for the others dead by the police in Holy Faith and in all the country
five years ago
let's light a candle
muddy grey city
scented with tiles

por Pocho Lepratti y su bicicleta
muerto mientras trabajaba y decía lo que era necesario
cinco años atrás
por los otros muertos por la policía en Santa Fe y en el resto del país
cinco años atrás
ciudad gris y embarrada
con perfume a tilos
encendamos

pain medication: jam
jam releases endorphins
which releases adrenaline
which releases mind
which releases memories
grassy sunny knolls
garlands of marigolds
fresh spring grasses
with pirouetting butteflies
sweet high noon chapparel
gleaming legs of horses gone free
another place another time
jammin brings it home

i have jammed myself into a corner
i have jammed myself from bottom to top,
my head lopped off with the pressure.
i have eaten jam on toast,
toasted my friends and those
who i didn't even know
on nights like this
and i was genuinely
jammed up with a cup
of brew one night at a hotel
in two thousand and two
and nobody was there,
not even you while i watched
the strawberry sun come up
on top of my english muffin,
butter diving into the grooves
like my sudden discovery
of solitude on a bed
let's get naked instead
and worship the second
coming

pain relief
jamming to beat the heat
a season of lights in the darkest times
to see the world again from a childs eyes of wonder
when life was new
and there was magic in the candle lights
the world's hope
for a child
who will lead us

high and holy lightened tomorrow
bob dylan sings of no pain
clean sweet honey voice
no direction home
sends replacement
watch out for the substitute angel
s/he wears no shame

"Eternity is not future or past. Eternity is a dimension of now. It is a dimension of the human spirit—which is eternal. Find that eternal dimension in yourself, and you will ride through time, and throughout the whole length of your days. What helps to reflect the knowledge of this transpersonal, transhistorical dimension of your being and experience to you are these mythological archetypes—these eviternal symbols that live in all the mythologies of the world, that have been the support models of human life forever."
