America really wants to be an aristocracy if not a monarchy. We have a strange atavistic desire to return to pre-revolutionary days where the rich and famous rule and we aren't troubled by messy things like elections.

Dynasties are so comforting. They are orderly. Why shouldn't politics be a family business?

Consider the Adams, the Roosevelts the Kennedys the Bushs the Clintons. Coumo, Shriver, Schwarzenegger, The Dalys, Jesse and Jesse jr.---the list goes on. Political royalty. Ruling families.

We only need to ask ourselves this question: Why does a politician need to spend a half a billion dollars to campaign for an office that pays less than a half a million dollars a year? It's because a political campaign is about brand building. Don't be surprised when Chelsea Clinton throws her hat in the ring and The Poet's Eye is on the Obama daughters.

I am looking beyond 2012, like I was saying on the poet's eye. A competent president than a boob. It Palin does run in 2012 how much faith do you have in the American voter?

My faith is restored, I never thought Obama would win. But even so I would like to see a woman president next time.

At least Biden had the good grace to admit he was wrong about the war.

Meanwhile Hillary still plays the dumb blonde. Geez if I only knew then what I know now. Maybe if she had done her homework she would have known.

She never even read the five page synopsis of the 90 page intelligence report before voting for the war.

Well things are moving right along, we need more roads and cars. I have not heard anyone talking about light rail or mass transit.
