Maybe along the way we can feed a few starving children and cure a few diseases that are running rampant for want of a few dollars here and there.
And lets get all the refugees all the displaced people back in their homes.

You mean there is a militarly solution to our problem? All we got to do is get North Korea, Iran, Sudan, Russia, China, Zimbabwe, Belarus,Myanmar and few others to cooperate and we can lick this thing militarily? I keep hearing the generals say there is no military solution.

So far every effort we have made to stop terrorism by military force has only breed more terrorists. Maybe that is because we have not used enough force. Sometimes you have to destroy a village to save it?

I could think of others I would have liked better, who truly did speak the truth but that is political suicide. You can't raise the kind of money it takes to win a presidential race by speaking truth to power. Maybe we can't handle the truth. So it is best that Obama won not someone like Dennis Kucinich.

It sounds like a good plan steve plonk. I don't know who is going to pay for your Marshall Plan. China going to pitch in? Or is the United States going to foot the bill. And I mentioned a few countries above that don't seem to be on board for your plan. Do you know where the bloodiest war going on now since world war 2 is? The Congo. Estimated five million dead so far. Of course we will have a Marchall Plan for Africa too. General George Catlet Marshall is a hero of mine. I remember him very well.

It is good to have messianic hopes for Obama? Which is kind of how it sounds to me.

I hope he can do all those things you say but it will probably have to wait for his second term. If he only gets one term he will be not get around to all you have put on his plate.

On a side note.
A funny thing most of the terrorists are not from families in refugee camps. They are mostly educated sons of the middle class living the good life.
