I guess now we have our answer-- as the "DOGE" Chainsaw massacres on: "No!" "We don't want the federal government!" "It's evil, bloated, corrupt, inefficient and too 'Marxist' and basically needs to be shitcanned!" comes "our" angry reply and refrain. It needs to be GONE! ... (and replaced by more direct corporate, "privatized" rule.) At least if our REELECTION of a certain man to the highest office in government is any indication.

Believe it or not, I try to stay open-minded, wary of "echo chambers," right or left. Yes, there IS waste and bloat in government agencies, always has been. I was open to an audit to trim waste, bloat and fraud. Even Clinton did this 30 years ago. What we have instead is a wholesale, haphazard slasher affair with zero accountability, and mean-spirited at that-- an arrogant jerk waving a chainsaw with glee as he guts entire departments seemingly at random. Call me a "snowflake" or whatever you want, but I'm sorry, eff that noise. And notice that the Pentagon remains largely untouched, with its budget set to expand to a trillion (did I read that right?) -- well, untouched except for some token smokescreen anti-DEI stuff. As for fraud-- you want to talk about FRAUD?! CORRUPTION?! A good place to start would be Congress and their lobbyists and insider trading. Might want to look at Elon's conflicts of interest while you're at it.
