A few thoughts on the War (yet another one), 5 days in
I hope I don't piss off anyone with my take(s) here on the current chaotic world situation, and more generally, Trump's first 14 months in office. but here goes . . . What amazes (and certainly appalls) me is how his Enablers and his Cult CONTINUE to twist themselves into pretzels of belief and "logic" to not only "justify" these fits of madness but also claim that their own Supreme Leader is the Ruler of the World and its sole arbiter of "justice." Or worse, make claims like "he's playing 3D chess while everyone else is playing checkers" (E.g., he chose Venezuela and Iran specifically to hobble China). It's absurd and incredibly scary. I mean, we have Huckabee out there saying things like Israel is entitled to (basically) the whole Middle East (likely because it fits his Xtian "Evangelical" End Times mythology), and of course, too much influence by Israel on our foreign policy (not exactly a new thing but heightened now). These people should not be allowed anywhere NEAR our political and military apparatus. But again, big picture, as I've said from Day One, the main problem CONTINUES to be our ongoing ENABLEMENT of these actors, more than the actors themselves.

I can only hope things turn out for the better.

Over 200 complaints have been filed by the military to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation because of commanders linking Christianity to the " biblically sanctioned " war in Iran. The combat readiness status briefing refernced numerous citations from the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ. Obviously this isn't just a national security threat but a threat to the world. This is religious extremism to say the least. These actions are inflating the passions not only the Iranians, but Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Boko Haram. Hegseth, the former FOX drunkard newsman is leading the charge referring to our attacks as a generational turning point.....whatever the fuck that means.
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
