Intelligent Design -- a great idea

In the spirit of L-rod's recent insightful analysis of the Afgan war (hypothesizing that a beneficial effectr to be expected is increased free trade in opiate agricultural products -- who needs guns 'n' butter, as the economists say, when you can define an economy in terms of guns n' smack?), i propose we look at the whole (anti)Darwin debates in a nother light.

the side effects may be redeeming, even if this is unintended or contrary to the will of the participants.

teaching IntelDesign or -- why not -- even creationism in public schools, or at least letting local schools or school boards to decide to if they want to, is a great idea. tell the kiddies that Darwin's is only a theory. heck, tell 'em all science is merely one way to look at Gods's creation. why?

'cause it'll make Americans even stupider than they are now! yes, we should undermine our educational system -- or at least the systems of conservative Christian regions -- so as to prevent the youth from going into the field of science. again, why would that be good?

because science, however 'true' it may be, is invariably used for nefarious purposes: genetic engineering, germ warfare, cloning, etc.

so, regarding this Intelligent Design, if it destroys science, it's a theory worth considering.

after all, what do kids need to know 'bout evolution anyhow? all ye need to know is that America is the free-est place on Earth.

Indeed, it's a frightening prospect. Another frightening prospect to consider as we helplessly watch our selves go backwards a hundred years......

I'm truly amazed at the holy heights the art of scamming has come to. It's a lethal imbalance tipping farther and farther in a direction that will be regretted too late by the hypnotized, crap eating masses. (us)

Politicians, sitting in their ivory tower offices look strange to me anymore, like sideshow barkers, selling crap, but calling it amazing, calling it "from above", criticizing anyone who disagrees or asks questions in earnest! Talentless whelps, hogging the money and we the ones really working and striving are way too polite, scared or stoned to demand our money back....

I'm extremely distressed about this Alito person. He is a Bush man through and through, complete with racisim, bigotry and self-aggrandizment issues. And together, they will be plotting our (your) futures.
Think about it.
Tell me why I shouldn't be afraid....
