lets go, gamblers...

we all know there is going to be an event between now and the november elections that causes the terrorist threat level to be raised in the US. it's likely that the threat level will increase only at "key areas," in order to try to make it seem less of a scheme, but we all know the truth.

i say we have a little pool going. a forum pool.

for the next week, lets collect ideas on what terrorist plot will be "uncovered". will it involve shoes? liquids? ipods? belts? tampons? benedryl? hairspray? marbles?

from there, we can put odds together and have people choose their bet, or we can just make a grid and randomly place participants into a square that identifies a certain kind of terrorist threat. just like an office pool.

no money will be exchanged, because that would be ILLEGAL. so the winner will simply be awarded the medal of freedom by firsty.

one kind of terrorist plot they will uncover will involve:

sharpened credit cards.

so, thats number 1.

the first box in the pool will be "sharpened credit cards".

so you if get that box, and thats the terrorist plot uncovered between now and november, you win the medal of freedom from firsty.

this means you are forever free of firsty. this is a big deal, with a wonderful prize.

this sounds unAmerican to me.

everytime someone mocks the terror threat warning system, it helps the terrorists. and it makes the system turn red with anger or embarrasment.

but if I haveta guess, I'll say Terror Threat Green. Al Gore will be declared an eco-terrorist.

Sure! we'll have another 'cry wolf' terrrorist threat before the elections... no doubt in my mind about it. (We may even have JEB Bush running for President, for that matter! That would be a terror act upon the citizenry wouldn't it? But that's two yrs away...)

But I'll have to think about what the threat will be... hmmm... sharpened credit cards, huh? that's very likely. but how easily would the american public surrender their credit cards? probablly millions would give them up only because they're maxed out! hah!

But I'd choose belts. Yeah! Belts could be taken off and used as a weapon... belts and necklaces... those (2) items are definitely dangerous in the hands of anyone wanting to kill democracy, or anyone else for that matter.
