Political withdrawl....

Post by hester_prynne » April 5th, 2008, 3:14 am

More like I give up, and why bother.
Much as I remain a supporter of Obama's, I don't think that he will be able to win, even though he's won.
I don't think Hillary or McCain will win either.
It seems all too likely now, that bout time of the election, Bushco will create a scene in which he will remain president in a time of war.
Christ, 1,000 iraqi turncoat troops, the surge is unsurging, our military is as thin as it's ever been, homes, job losses, etc.
There is a new surge happening folks, a very successful one too, and it's against you and what little power you imagine you have, being yanked away.
It amazes me that 81 percent of the American people "disapprove" of our government yet it still is in power, still is wreaking havoc and losses on us.
How can a few rich folks depower millions of people?
It's extremely depressing.
Why bother? Tell me.
(I don't think you can....)

PS I've decided that I'm going to spend my little "economy booster" from Bush on updating my passport, and I'm going to get one of those licenses that will allow me to cross the Canadian border whenever.
