I don't know hester I been reading a lot editorials about obama that said he failed the Three AM phone call to the white house test. His reaction to the recent events just was not macho enough.

We might need a military hero to get us through the coming world war.

I been thinking about what the sage of studio eight had to say about this mess between Georgia, Ossetia and Russia
If we don't open a can of whupass on the Russians, we are not only cowards but also hypocrites.
I heard a good song today
if that is any help.

Russia is doing exactly what we did, (Bush did) in Iraq! Oil and all!
I wouldn't be surprized if Putin and Bush are co-horting this whole deal although I am more inclined to believe that the stupidity of this war in Iraq, this example that we set, is now backfiring in the exact way in which many of us thought it would and now we can see without a doubt, we can see with our eyes closed, just how arrogant and hypocritical the Bush admin and republicans have been. We can attack a small vulnerable country with no provocation, but Russia can't? How in the hell does that fly?
And there's McCain, such a warmonger that he doesnt' even get it, he chides the Russian attack, and tells us gravely that it was oil they were after, those bad people.....
If the American people do not vote for Obama at this point it is treason.
Yep.

Yes Putin is doing his part to help McCain.

Hester I don't know where Billary's head is.

I really like Maureen Dowd's take on it.

Makes a lot sense what she is saying and it ain't pretty

I got tired repeating other people's opinions. But she thinks (Dowd) that the clinton's have their eye on the prize which is the 2012 election. If Obama loses she can get the nomination in 2012. Talk about treason. Talk about McCain saying that Obama cares more about winning the presidency than winning the war.

Hillary cares more about being president than coming to the aid of the party.

I took typing in high school. Probably the most useful course I took.

How many times did I type?
"The quick red fox jumped over the lazy brown dog"

and

"now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party."

Do you think she and bill really want to do their part for the good of the country?

I listened to a Clinton supporter for McCain on a call in show, she was giving her reasons why it did not matter if McCain won because Roe V Wade is going to overturned anyway. She just got real squirmy sounding to me when she mentioned Obama's name. She just did not trust him.

Sounded like she was saying that big black buck scares the shit out of me.

politics

sex religion and politics,
three things us southern gentlemen not supposed to discuss in polite company.

Are you polite company?

I can hardly wait to see what kind of dog and pony show the Clintons going to pull at the convention.

I think Bill Clinton is a disgrace to the office of ex president that Richard Nixon tried so heroically to protect.

I don't know if Obama can win without those Hillary voters.

well got to go check out the sky
I am
spending the night out in the country
I hope it is not cloudy
I need to see that star filled big texas sky
and feel their tender indifference as to how the elcetion goes.

does that make any sense
me trying to be poetical.
