That road (Old US 90) that follows the border goes thru Langtry Texas of the hanging judge fame, long stretches of absolutely nothing, coyotes and bandits. I remember one of my sister's boy friends telling me how dark it was in the jungles of viet nam. That is a dark road. I wonder if he will walk through san antone, if memory serves me that road swings up north from laredo to here. I sure would love to see him pass by, let my freak flag fly. I remember him talking about the woman asking someone with the support our troops sticker for help. Her husband in Iraq... just blew her off but told her how her husband was a hero. ticker tape parades not much help he said
