I don't know mark, I don't know anymore. I suppose I have lost my belief in following bliss. I think one man's bliss may not bring anything good to his fellow man. I suppose I am thinking of the scientists who brought us nuclear weapons. They were just following their bliss with not a thought as to the consequences of their research. I think Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle describes the situation pretty well.

As far as Jesus being perfect? I just can't understand his cursing that fig tree. I think it was St. Paul who was out to change the world not Jesus.

Not sure what all this has to do with fear and who will win the elections in November. I think for some people following bliss means gathering power to them.

<center>Who among us
can follow bliss
when bliss is
an unknown?

Bliss is not a pursuit
nor is it a goal
nay... bliss is acceptance
of the silence within

Ahh, but (it would seem) I followed my "bliss". Are we tied up in semantics here? I was thinking in terms of a more "conscious" path, of connecting with one's truth of being (wholly unique and individual). Individual is noteworthy here. This just might be where the innumerable failed "Isms" of the world predictably run aground.

mnaz: "I was thinking in terms of a more "conscious" path.."

True bliss lies beyond mind, i.e., 'thinking.' No doubt some pleasantries can be had in thoughts, but bliss...? Drop thought, drop mind... bliss awaits.

Yes, often times semantics is the cord that ties us in 'nots' (even the won'ts and don'ts). Listen between the words for the intent. There is where truth always is, the 'Silent Sentinel of Clarity.'
