firsty,

Yeah, it's a gender thing - male gender and female gender. One huge gender thing. We like to sub-divide but it's all one fallacy that we're separate.

Together, this male/female team procreates and educates and unless we raise ourselves beyond the divisive his fault/her fault thing, the next generation is going to be just as tunnel-visioned as this one.

The article is 'ranty' - the dude's pissed.

i'd never heard of him before.
Has anyone watched his TV program?

great - thanks.

to briefly paraphrase - the Rabbi Boteach was raised in a home of constant parental fighting and as kid he wished he could bring them peace and run around to all homes to convert fighting to peaceful households.

So, this past year, he's been travelling the US in a trailer and since April 10th has been airing his show. His premise is that instead of making people feel inadequate and ugly, he feed their inner worth and shows them how to bloom (so to speak). It sounds shmaltzy from here, but it can't be worse than the esteemed dr. phil.

But then relating to one another involves maturity. Maturity! Is that too much to expect on a college campus, a workplace, in a bus or any other public place?

uuuummm (!) .... maturity.
synch!

Welcome to America, land of the free, the brave and the ever irreverent. A real place, with warts and all…

You sound scared for your daughter.
I don't blame you.
