First-Person Paradox.

(somewhat parallel to the impotent power of the age of information).

More and more eyes and reports, and more of them snuffed summarily, or sufficiently diffused.

Use of the word "I"... it has no place here. (Here, in the endeavor of writing, in such a "witness-saturated" place)

Clearly.

yeh... mmm... well, I may have indulged in way too much "refreshment" last night... errm...

I kept thinking of something I read over on the creative writing board...

"you don't phucking subsist, except as shit splattered words lacking any soul or wit"...

First-person singular bad... very very profoundly bad...

Perhaps aye should be shot
for aye
guilty as charged
so by default
profoundly bad
but that has always gone without the saying. :D

"refreshment"?!!: let me guess...you drank too much limonada or something similar, or too much alcohol, or you slept outdoors, or you slept with the windows open and no frazada or you dated someone twenty years younger...mmm!!!.

I have to admitt that the pronoum "I" in English it´s sometimes too much evident. In Spanish you can use the first person of the singular and at the same time forget a little about it.

but an I is only an I, nothing more, nothing less... and not always too bad!!

(but you seem very convencido!)

Aye mousey 1... Aye'm massively guilty as well...

y si, Arcadia, mucha cerveza.... **!**

I think the point of that "don't phucking subsist..." statement is to declare the practice of writing in first person singular worthless by definition, regardless of any conceivable judgment as to quality of writing, since it was left somewhat open to interpretation. I really should stop using the word "somewhat", btw...

Ayee!!

That's the paradox: that you state the rejection of the "I" by using I statements...?

The Eye is ever-present. YOU don't exist.

Yes.

YOU don't exist.

I think you may have something there..

Ah, well then, I've been using the unconscious "rejection of the "I" by using I statements"

I've been on the right track all along I just never knew it.

So much in life is like that innit?

All that wisdom rattling about in my unconscious self. Eggcellent.

Now if I could just put my finger on the ever-present Eye in the You that doesn't exist. Because frankly this all is making my head hurt.

let´s call the I-You thing dialectic...mmm??

always a pleasure to read your stuff.
I hope that don't mean much to you

Only reason I am replying to this is because I already had a head ache.
these words are my attempt at ecconomy of effort.

for no reason at all I am reminded of this line from one of hester;s Go's
"bummershoots and paradoxes abound"
maybe bumpershoots and paradoxes abound.

Like e dog says... I don't think "Therefore, I am". Therefore, I am.

So at least I am... 'cause I certainly don't think that.

Shit, it was just a long, long weekend... (not long enough).
