I have to admitt that the pronoum "I" in English it´s sometimes too much evident. In Spanish you can use the first person of the singular and at the same time forget a little about it.

I think the point of that "don't phucking subsist..." statement is to declare the practice of writing in first person singular worthless by definition, regardless of any conceivable judgment as to quality of writing, since it was left somewhat open to interpretation.
