New Evidence Clearly Indicates Pat Tillman Was Executed
Army medical examiners concluded Tillman was shot three times in the head from just 10 yards away, no evidence of "friendly fire" damage at scene, Army attorneys congratulated each other on cover-up, Wesley Clark concludes "orders came from the very top" to murder pro-football star because he was about to become an anti-war political icon Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet Friday, July 27, 2007
Astounding new details surrounding the death of Pat Tillman clearly indicate that top brass decided to execute the former pro football star in cold blood to prevent him from returning home and becoming an anti-war icon.
These same criminals then engaged in a sophisticated conspiracy to create a phony "friendly fire" cover story.
Shocking new facts emerged about the case last night but were bizarrely underplayed by the Associated Press under nondescript headlines like 'New Details on Tillman's Death'- a complete disservice to the horrific implications that the new evidence carries. Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman's forehead and tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player's death amounted to a crime, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.
"The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described," a doctor who examined Tillman's body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.
The doctors - whose names were blacked out - said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away.
The report also states that "No evidence at all of enemy fire was found at the scene - no one was hit by enemy fire, nor was any government equipment struck."
The article also reveals that "Army attorneys sent each other congratulatory e-mails for keeping criminal investigators at bay as the Army conducted an internal friendly-fire investigation that resulted in administrative, or non-criminal, punishments."
So there was no evidence whatsoever of friendly fire, but the ballistics data clearly indicated that the three head shots had been fired from just 10 yards away and then the Army tried to concoct a hoax friendly fire story and sent gloating back-slapping e mails congratulating each other on their success while preventing the doctors from exploring the possibility of murder. How can any sane and rational individual weigh this evidence and not come to the conclusion that Tillman was deliberately gunned down in cold blood?
The evidence points directly to it and the motivation is clear - Tillman abandoned a lucrative career in pro-football immediately after 9/11 because he felt a rampaging patriotic urge to defend his country, and became a poster child for the war on terror as a result. But when he discovered that the invasion of Iraq was based on a mountain of lies and deceit and had nothing to do with defending America, he became infuriated and was ready to return home to become an anti-war hero.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to Daily Kos, Wesley Clark appeared on Keith Olbermann's Countdown last night and stated that "the orders came from the very top" to murder Tillman as he was a political symbol and his opposition to the war in Iraq would have rallied the population around supporting immediate withdrawal.
The notion that the U.S. government gave orders for Army top brass to execute Pat Tillman in cold blood is the most damaging indictment of the Iraq war since it began, trumping the lies about weapons of mass destruction tenfold, but if the establishment media continue to soft-peddle and steam-valve one of the biggest stories of the century its impact will be completely diluted.
It is up to us to make this story go viral because the implications are so dire that they could act as the final death knell for the blood-soaked and illegal occupation of Iraq and become the clarion call to bring our troops home.

now this dude was wasted, and yes, the poor general will have his monthly retirement check of $9,800 dollars cut bu about $800, and he might even lose a star, yes, I am jealous of the retirees who collect their monthly pension checks because they kept their mouths shut and saw no evil in what they were doing
and had i gotten a different assignment after coming home from Vietnam, I might have stayed in as well, but the Dr Strangelove routine was way off base for me
ah well, should've stayed in, been a mercenary, yah
no wonder i want to get fucked up
but not all military folks are mercenary
more like fucking brainwashed
and yet they still get wasted and die in vain
anyhow i had personal experience in fabricating intelligence reports for medals
it was done in our cargo airlift squadron in vietnam
as it was, almost every aircrew member got a standard end-of tour DFC
distinguished flying cross,
for anyone to qualify for the medal, thay had to log a certain total number of missions, sorties, whatever, plus had to have a distinguished situation highlighted, which was done as a form insertion with some date entry, like,
under hostile weather conditions at the risk of enemy fire, so and so piloted his craft into artillery bases blah blah blah"
so this was done for everyone, unless they were a fuckup like me who refused to sign the medallion application papers at the end of my tour,
because i had seen the carpet bombing in cambodia by then, but my mercenary compatriotz did, sure, got to wear that ribbon on their chest and dangle the cross at formal occassions,
anyhow,
i was instructed to enter false dates for sorties flown and false total numbers of sorties, hours in flight logged, for the end of tour DFC's for the squadron officers, like the c.o. the executive officer, and so on, the majors and lt col's who wanted their ribbons but whose dutiies were largely at headquarters, administrative.
this lasted for about two days,i remember processing one or two of these then quit, it sucked, then i went into a period of pot smoking on my days off instead, intil i upgraded to ac and straightened up,
but for sure, they fabrigated Tillman's silver star, no doubt, am sure of it
talking about culture here?
how about some culture and sensitivity
the joint is rife with septic chock
anyhow, as part of my conscientious objector discharge application the year after returning from vietnam, i included the example of these distortions of military records for awarding medals, and the base chaplain, who had to ascertain my sincerity, told me to axe that, so i did, unfortunately, gave them the easy way out and ultimately resigned.
lucky i din get shot.

reading the sea wolfMr. President:
On behalf of the veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and those troops still in theater, I implore you to reconsider your decision to invoke claims of executive privilege in refusing to share vital documents regarding the death of Corporal Pat Tillman with the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
As you know, this week the Associated Press obtained the medical examiner's finding at the time of his death that Corporal Tillman's fatal wounds seemed to indicate shots fired from ten yards away, or less. The doctors who examined Corporal Tillman urged a criminal investigation into his death be opened at that time, and were refused. Since that time, the Department of Defense has put forth two explanations for the death of Corporal Tillman, the first of which was proven false, and a second which now seems to have been proven to be a lie, as well. In both cases, the White House has actively pushed these false findings to the public.
Your administration has faithfully shared a number of documents with the committee, but has withheld a number of requested documents under the specious argument that sharing the documents would violate confidentiality among you and your staff. For instance, the Committee has requested a number of communications between senior administration officials and the Pentagon, which may offer important details into the death of Corporal Tillman, and if there was an attempt to cover them up, by some in the Executive Branch.
Respectfully, Sir, when it comes to outright lies conveyed to the public about the death of a soldier - especially one like Corporal Tillman whose service was used as a recruiting poster for the military - there is nothing which cannot be shared with the Legislative Branch or the people.
Confidence in the institution of the military from those within is at stake, the longer you withhold information. The longer questions remain about the death of Corporal Tillman and possible White House involvement in an ensuing cover-up, the more our troops will question whether this government will properly honor their sacrifice and let their families know the truth, if they are killed in action. It is simply impossible for the military to function, if those in its ranks do not have full faith in our leadership up the chain of command, all the way to Washington.
Additionally, by letting questions fester regarding the death of Corporal Tillman, you are placing an undue burden on our recruiters, at a time when our Army and Marine Corps can ill-afford more of a drop off in recruiting. Our military depends on being able to visit homes and gaining the trust of mothers and fathers to allow their 18-year old son or daughter to wear the uniform. What mother would allow her son or daughter to serve a nation she feels will not honor her child's service?
Finally, as Commander in Chief, you owe the complete and total truth to Corporal Tillman's mother, Mary Tillman. It is the duty of any officer to write to the families of those under us who were killed, and tell them the entire truth regarding their love one's death. To lie about any details or withhold any information would not just cause unjust pain to the survivors, but is to dishonor the fallen. As our nation's top commander, it is your duty to Pat Tillman and his family to release all materials related to his death.
For the good of our military, our troops, the Tillmans, and our nation, I respectfully call on you to comply with all past and future requests of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on the matter of the death of Corporal Tillman.
Respectfully

RE: The Sea Wolfe
The captain of that trawler I worked on was named Larsen too. .
Tied up to the dock in astoria I spent a long dark night of the soul with murderous thoughts. But in the dawn's light I come to my senses.
The Sea Wolf Chapter Six Wolf Larsen on the sanctity of life.
He's back.
I watched a video clip of Rumsfeld testifying before congress about Tillman. No cover up. He is sure of it.
I was pretty calm. But I almost threw a coffee mug through my TV last week. Kissinger was rumbling his wisdom at me.
Just on the edge of doing it. Thinking about how good it would feel to just let myself go. How does he come off as the elder statesman?
Talked to an old vet from world war two during the 2004 election. He did not like Kerry. He said he was a "glory hound" I forgot to ask him what he thought of Oliver North.
London bridge fell down ...
Bush was Johnny on the spot
he is such a nice simulation of a president.
too bad he can't give him self a medal.
What has Paul Bremmer, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld or Tenet got that he aint?

http://www.jacklondons.net/writings/Sea ... pter6.html“We were talking about this yesterday,” he said. “I held that life was a ferment, a yeasty something which devoured life that it might live, and that living was merely successful piggishness. Why, if there is anything in supply and demand, life is the cheapest thing in the world. There is only so much water, so much earth, so much air; but the life that is demanding to be born is limitless. Nature is a spendthrift. Look at the fish and their millions of eggs. For that matter, look at you and me. In our loins are the possibilities of millions of lives. Could we but find time and opportunity and utilize the last bit and every bit of the unborn life that is in us, we could become the fathers of nations and populate continents. Life? Bah! It has no value. Of cheap things it is the cheapest. Everywhere it goes begging. Nature spills it out with a lavish hand. Where there is room for one life, she sows a thousand lives, and it’s life eats life till the strongest and most piggish life is left.”

The bit that keeps coming back to mind is a "warriors sense of what is right"
not sure if I got that quote quite right I will try to verify later
When a soldier's sense of what is right is violated by his commanders,
I wish I had time to reply to all your posts today
the one about ferlinghetti

thinking about the day he became a pacifist.
landed in japan two weeks after the war ended
