being a dissenter in the military is a very hard thing to do.
I was not a happy dissenter, i was tired, afraid, but would have gone to jail orhell before i'd have gone back to bombing southeast asia.

the unabated projection of military power is not the way to peace.
to be sure, i believe in selective use of military force, it just seems like our ability to read clearly what is necessary, and how to go about it, escaped our leaders, and the gung-ho fighting spirit is manipulated for profit, which is why most wars of aggressiohn are fought.

doing one's duty has diffenert meanings to different people. dissent when necessary is essential to a healthy democracy. the military dissenters of today have a lot of support, but it don't come easy.

i still suffer and i still dissent.
wonder if my latest note will get into the Times of St Pete, Florita.
