Anybody know Jost Amman? his patron saint of gluttony?
He did a woodcut of old St Nick as the patron saint of gluttony why riding a donkey of course and the donkey has "horns" of bush branches with fishes and sausages hanging and there are bells ringing and both man and beast are laughing....I had this inside an old book several years ago many years ago....I'd made a copy of it free drawn but left it with a woman in Longview Texas....my sad story....and have been browsing the web also went through a large number of books in the Tampa library....Has anybody seen this? It is an heartening meggase for all. [/img]

Jimbo,
It's good to see that you finally stumbled in to StudioEight
I'm not familiar with the woodcut or the artist.
Did you try to put an image in there? I saw the close img tag.
If you want to post an image, just hit the img button twice and then paste your link between the two tags.
welcome, friend
