Did you see Bush's speech on the state of the union?
I had to listen to it on the radio because I can't stand to look at those people.....that man....who is still "commander in chief" despite betrayals, lies, destruction of our country, and overt greed. It just is living proof of the huge walls of denial this country has built up against humanity...er anything humanitarian.

The fact that the congress and senate will applaud this man, will attend a state of the union address that he is giving and act all nicey nice like nothing is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!! It totally galls me!

It reminds me of how as a kid, noone would believe that my stepfather was molesting me. They said I was crazy. It's an awful, helpless, and inexplainable feeling.

And we're supposed to watch this charade with respect? We're supposed to clamor in praise because "daddy bush" want's to give us all a few hundred to stimulate what he so obviously drained? It makes me utterly sick. SICK! SICK! YOU HEAR ME! IM SICK OF IT AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are no good candidates to even vote for now.
Just celebrity, and the fascist/liberal charades.

Who has given this president license to commit crimes? Our beloved representatives in congress and senate, overruling the huge message from the people that we wanted it stopped.

So fine, just concentrate on Heath Ledgers demise and Britany Spears contributions to the economy. That is way more important than real people losing their homes, their jobs, in fact, their sense of security in our country. We are not a country anymore, we are but a weakening entity, that has given away everything we ever had that was strong, in exchange for our own demise, which we continue to look away from.

I realize now that participating at all in this political carnival is useless.
The race will be between McCain and Hilary, and McCain will win.
Edwards is the only one who can beat McCain and even that is iffy.
Anymore, my agenda is to take care of myself and fuck the rest. Each year I find myself living more like a survivalist, hell, you here have seen it too.....and i'm beginning to see that that change is key to my own and my daughter's real security. To travel light, to not get drawn into the "ownership" game, or any goverment game, and to be extremely adaptable.

You see, this country caters to the ignorant and then eventually eats them raw, seemingly enjoying the blood greasing their chins from it. You like that? You like being reduced to the blood that greases the fox's chins simply because being one of many makes you stupid?

We are all being "molested" in a sense. And there is no one to "tell".
I can't believe I am feeling this helpless, again, as an adult!

The writer Derrick Jensen had a father who was phsycially, emotionally, and sexually abusive. He raises the concept as well that we are being "molested" by those in power, that essentially the relationship is an abusive one writ large (not only to us, but every living thing, including the earth itself). His solution is to bring down those in power and their system, which he considers to be all of Western 'civilization' (I use quotations because I've always considered it a strange word to denote a society based on violence and exploitation). I've met him, and he's quite pleasant and seems a lot more sane than most people.

Perhaps my point is that granted you're crazy, there are those even crazier than you?

from what you said it´s difficult to not feel molested...! But there is always something to do or not to do to improve the situation!. Sure you & your people will discover it!
From my side of the story I really felt molested by dictatorships, guerrilla in the streets, war, parents depression, conservative church, corruption, economic cataclism, rusty ideology, inflation, lack of job, politics... until more or less 2001. The feeling now is different than to feel molestada or abusada. I have yet to define it.

I didn't see Bush's final State of the Union speech. I don't think I could have stomached him.

Hest, I think you're right that it will be McCain as the candidate for the Republican party. He's another scary warmonger, in my opinion. But I find him to be much more likable than Bush. (if it's possible to like a warmonger... lol... geez...)

You are certain it will be Hillary? I don't think so. I think it will be Obama.

And I'm hoping he will win.
