actually I love him. Not enough to marry him, but still... just sayin

The debate wasn't really much of a debate.

They sounded like running mates. They agreed on almost everything.

I hope they WILL be running mates!

Indeed I watched it intensely.

I found myself feeling a bit sad that this woman is running for president and that I absolutely cannot vote for her.

She's beginning to look like Edith Bunker to me.

And that last comment she made. It struck me as damn patronizing. I don't want her cakes man, I want equal blessings for all. Sure we may never get it, but at least someone with some power who can understand that concept for a change, please!

I mean we all are blessed not her more than me. But that's why she want's to be President? So she can dole out a few extra blessings she doesn't need? It's this mindset, that so misses the mark. WHEN WILL PEOPLE GET IT?????????
(sorry)

It's fascinating. For some there's the superbowl. For me, it's this shit.
I am into it!
Vote for Obama!

Hardly.
I certainly think the right woman or man can be the president. You could be the president!

I am, however, against monkey brains doing the job.
And McCain is a monkey brain just like bush.

Not just like Bush. He has combat experience. Imprisoned by the NVA for over 5 years. He scares the granola-eaters, but then the Russian and Chinese military should scare granola eaters. You think McCain is scary, imagine an infantry about 6 times that of the US Army (that's the Chinese Red Army). That's monkey brains.

We might want a vet like McCain at the helm rather than BO the civilian, even if BO wins the Toastmasters award. Jus' sayin.

Besides, as even Ivan Karamazov realizes (in Doystoyevsky's Bros. K), given no god (and no arguments which would prove a God exists), no ultimate source of values, then everything is permissable. The great writer LF Celine (inspiration to Bukowski and others) hung out with old nazis. Sartre palled around with maoists. I'd say LF was not as guilty as Sartre was (if guilty at all).

You might want Johnnie "Got His Plane" McCain if you want to increase the likelihood of a war wit Chine or Russoland.

But if ye wants some honest ta goodness diplomacey, turns ta Obama. He's an international sort. Born in Mecca, raised in Bagdad. schooled in maddrassas in Indonesia. smokin' dat indo weed.

btw, who has Snoop Dog come out and supported? I'll go with whoever he's gonna vote for, unless it's John McCain.

And what's this stupid "he did time in a POW camp, therefore he's qualified to be president" argument? Guess you'd 've supported Sartre for Chaz. de Ghoul's post ?

Should David Hicks run for PM in Aussieland?

No, Monkey brains live in the past and use old outworn tactics and threaten disaster to those brave enough to at least be in the present and look into the future. Monkey brains believe in do as I say, not as I do policies.

War is obsolete, get it? If we're going to fight it has to be different, it has to be smarter, less angry and stupid, more clever and adapting.
For the real threats, we need to be ready, sure and we need to exercise every other option before we kill, but if we have to kill it's got to be complete in one fowl swoop and done with, with a strong ready army and allies at our sides, none of this using Americans so big corporations can have more more more without even blinking in their crappy ass evil denial.
GRRRRRRRRr.

McCain is a monkey brain. So is Bush and so are most republicans, who are the biggest sinners of all time but they think they aren't!!!!!!! They'd rather pay for lies to be turned into truth, than just let the truth be known and adhered to.

Go Barack Obama!
Yes we can!

Obama's a slick salesman for corporate mediocrity, if not a celebrity like his pal Oprah. He's not the underdog: he's the media and executives' choice, and the Xtian's choice, regardless if a bit more dovey than HRC and McCain.

Anyone who bases political decisions on what they take to be "morality" generally wants to be in the KGB, or maybe a church. A rational voter chooses candidates based on who will best advance one's interests. That's called democracy.

Hillarious Plan to solve Health Crisis

Require everyone to BUY health insurance. works for th insurance Cos.

Great Idea! Let's apply it to other soc. problems.

End homelessness? Require everyone to buy a house!

How to solve unemployment? Outlaw joblessness!

Way ta Go Hillary!

hah. Obama's the one in the pocket of the insurance execs. He attacks HRC's plans as too socialistic. He's the one praising Reagan. He's the one saying that all environmental reforms should offer incentives to corps. You're just a bit too stoned on the BO-buzz
