Bad News Has Come My Way!!!!

I found out today Friday. That my postion that I've been working at a TV station in Madison. It has been cut and my last day is on Monday. So I will be looking for a new job very soon. I'm going to try and find the same thing that I've been working at for six years. I hope I can find it!!!! Wish me luck please!!!! I hope all you good people out there in Studio 8 land are doing well!!!! Take care Dave The Dov :^)

wow - that's so sudden, Dave. Grab all the recommendations possible and go conquer the job market. Change is good. It keeps us young. Best of luck in finding something interesting.

well madison is a special community
i wouldn't like move to milwaukee or chicago just for a job
it's like surviving to stay in thhat community
oh well,
i'd like move to kalamazoo
or iowa city maybe
or check out
dave's places rated almanac
there's always california
but a real community now
it's something special
i always wanted to live in a special town
like tuscon is real kool
i had enuf of ann arbor

man, out on the street
at least it wasn't just before christmas
looks like you'll be giving up work for lent!

Dave I was a bit worried that you might not see the positive ensconsed inside that lil Lent joke.

Are you a TV cameraman, or what?
Are you in tenuous economic status?

I used to have a recurring dream....
I'd be travelling, on the road, trying to figure out just what to do, I'd be wandering about, and the thought would occur to me,
if only I could get back to old St Pete,
then I'd wake up and realise,
I am in St Pete!

but I had lots of inbetween jobs times
I guess I could do it again!

What are you looking for?
Are you blaming yourself for this job loss?
I take it that you liked the job and so are feeling
sad about having to leave.

Not as easy to make changes like when we were young,
can you remember that long ago?

Today was was my last day. I also found out on a myspace blog that was posted by my cousin. It turns out that today marks the fifth anniversary of when my cousin Tim took his own life. Oh my the irony of it all!!!! But I'm going to be positive about it and keep on going in my life!!!! Again thanks to everyone who has been very supportive towards me. You guys are truely and really the best!!!!

Have you started your paper work for unemployment insurance?

Check out everything

Just a numbers game

you send out x number resumes

you get Y number of interviews

you get job offers.

but if you are like me you will apply for one job at a time and wait to hear about it before you go to the next one.

don't limit yourself

might be a time to go back to school
start a new career
sail around the world

god but not suicide
I could not ever even consider suicide because I was broke or out of work.

I am gonna keep on smoking a little pot
because it gives me a mental lift
and I hardly ever drink anymore.

find a way to appreciate yourself.

Dave all I can say is I've been there, and whats happened to you is happening to alot of folks. March right down to the unemployment office and get some money coming in while you search for something else.

lots of work at home jobs
legit ones
not where you send them some money and they will send you a list of do it at home stuff.

work at home is sweet
I been doing it about four years now.

I have not lost any sleep over money in thirty years
I used to sweat it but I don't
if you want to work
always something to make a buck

just got to keep the faith

I like scuffling for a living.
