A Simple Observation

Vietnam is a country of approx. 331,000 square kilometers
Iraq is 437,000 square kilometers.
The United States, with all it's might and high tech military and a HALF A MILLION soldiers on the ground couldn't pacify Vietnam or enforce democracy there. They ran our asses out.
We have only 135,000 troops in Iraq. What are our chances of success? You do the math.
