WASHINGTON - Playing the gasoline card, the Bush administration on Monday predicted that a climate change bill before lawmakers this week could raise pump prices by as much as 53 cents a gallon by 2030.

It amazes me that the Bush administration can so fearfully predict a 53 cent per gallon increase in 22 years. They also assured the world, that Iraq had WMD's. This administration also stated 'Mission Accomplished" aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln during a televised address by United States President George W. Bush on May 1, 2003. The list is large, as you know.

I have a great deal of doubt over this administrations ability to predict anything accurately much less honestly. The childhood story of the boy who cried wolf somehow fits with Dubya, unfortunately.

Word on that. Though I think the price will be going up anyway, seeing as we are using so much and it doesn't look like the price will be coming down any time soon. the administration is more concerned about something happening in 22 years than what's going on right now. Ain't that a pain? :?
