Background music

Post by Lightning Rod » August 6th, 2008, 2:10 am

I keep CNN on all day long
I don't really pay attention to it most of the time
it's just background noise
like elevator music
I call it Newsak
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The Poet's Eye

What about at night?

Do you keep a radio or television on when you go to bed?

LR : "I don't really pay attention to it most of the time..."

but your mind hears it and stores it away in the left memory bank, just above street level where the memories of jail are stored. those memories will come back and quite possibly haunt the living hell outta you, clay... so be very careful with those loose news channels. not a smart thing. you can control them and not let them control your subconscious. play background music instead. pandora.com gives free choice.

I used to fall asleep to the news
The BBC World News overnight
And wake up like a savant of cricket scores.

I don´t get along well with screens (mude or not) for long hours. I prefer radio. This year I stayed at radio universidad 103.4 FM most of the time when I had to work at home in the middle of papers (great music & other things).
