Yeah, sure, she who was involved in a group that wanted Alaska to sucede from the union? ?
This is a desperate measure, to revive an old accusation that the clintons brought up during the campaign, an untruth that was resolved months ago. And in the debate this pseudo-american woman chided biden for reverting to the past.
Desperate measures. When i see them resort to this I begin to worry. They are not into winning fairly or with integrity, just like Bush.
They will do anything regardless of anything.
Speak out against them people.
Do not hold back from their empty nonsensical ploys....look them in the eye and tell them they are lying.....don't buy into their manipulated fears projected on you. If McCain "wins" we all will know we are the prisoners, captives in this army of republican madness.
I truly fear that we are in the final phases of the Bushco coup. I mean they have brought a portion of our own army home as of Oct. 1, to work in the homeland, an astonishing military move, highly unconsititutional. We all have to be strong now and do whatever we can to get them out of power. Be sure and vote for Obama, and pray for his safety. I may sound extreme, but i'm telling you, I am truly afraid of what possibly is to come. The American people's lethargy, and numbed out focus in all things banal has got to stop. Open your eyes and look at what is going on around you....wake up before it's too late, i am telling you, my gut senses horrible trouble is ahead in the very near future.....and yes, i'm scared.
Peace,

If Alaska secedes from the union would Palin still be a citizen?

Cutting and Pasting
The Palins' un-American activities
Imagine if the Obamas had hooked up with a violently anti-American group in league with the government of Iran.

By David Talbot

Oct. 7, 2008 | "My government is my worst enemy. I'm going to fight them with any means at hand."

This was former revolutionary terrorist Bill Ayers back in his old Weather Underground days, right? Imagine what Sarah Palin is going to do with this incendiary quote as she tears into Barack Obama this week.

Only one problem. The quote is from Joe Vogler, the raging anti-American who founded the Alaska Independence Party. Inconveniently for Palin, that's the very same secessionist party that her husband, Todd, belonged to for seven years and that she sent a shout-out to as Alaska governor earlier this year. ("Keep up the good work," Palin told AIP members. "And God bless you.")

***

Vogler's greatest moment of glory was to be his 1993 appearance before the United Nations to denounce United States "tyranny" before the entire world and to demand Alaska's freedom. The Alaska secessionist had persuaded the government of Iran to sponsor his anti-American harangue.

That's right ... Iran. The Islamic dictatorship. The taker of American hostages. The rogue nation that McCain and Palin have excoriated Obama for suggesting we diplomatically engage. That Iran.

***
The Republican ticket is working hard this week to make Barack Obama's tenuous connection to graying, '60s revolutionary Bill Ayers a major campaign issue. But the Palins' connection to anti-American extremism is much more central to their political biographies.

***
Imagine the uproar if Michelle Obama was revealed to have joined a black nationalist party whose founder preached armed secession from the United States and who enlisted the government of Iran in his cause? The Obama campaign would probably not have survived such an explosive revelation. Particularly if Barack Obama himself was videotaped giving the anti-American secessionists his wholehearted support just months ago.

Where's the outrage, Sarah Palin has been asking this week, in her attacks on Obama's fuzzy ties to Ayers? The question is more appropriate when applied to her own disturbing associations.

The Witch Hunter Anoints Sarah Palin

Since Palin was nominated as vice president, Wasilla Assembly of God has taken a draconian line with reporters. The church now forbids members of the media from filming, taking notes, or bringing voice recorders to its services. I was able to record Muthee's recent sermons only by deploying an array of tiny cameras and hidden microphones. Though the quality and comprehensiveness of my footage was severely compromised by the church's closed door policy to the press, I was not going to be deterred.

I have to laugh every time that I hear Sarah Palin say, "You betcha, we're going to Washington to make changes and shake things up."

If she gets to Washington the only thing she would be shaking up is baby formula and the only thing she would be changing is John McCain's Depenz.
