Snow, mistletoe,
perhaps chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
and Bill O'Reilly spewing for about the eighteen-millionth time
about Christmas being attacked, you know, by uhh..
them.

Now I know this man is smart, has a large forehead and all,
but for God's sake man, just let it go!

un poquito, Doreen..

yeah, very little espanol. Studied it way back in high school..

Instead of "spewing" above, I almost used the word "kvetching". Wish I had. Fits O'Reilly to a tee on this issue. It's from Yiddish, I think, meaning to complain chronically. I learned it from Palephx, who used to hang out here sometimes a while back..

(i know how to say a few phrases in spanish and french myself... it's been years tho.... plus can understand some spanish when people are talking because i've been around hispanic people so much. ... wish i took spanish classes.... i did take french classes way back when.... never took yiddish classes... )

French and Spanish are both a part of the Romantic languages. So the spelling of it is almost alike.

Sloppy "Spanglish"... Ooops.. (I know better). Gracias Arcadia. Mucha calor en diciembre!? I cannot even imagine. It's been below freezing (0 deg.) for over a week (semana), y ahora una tormenta de nieve... Hace mucho frio. No me gusta.

how do I know it is the December?
cause every thing fades to black so fast

Mr. Nazz
I need light hearted
i need to razz

yes kvetch rhimes with retch
people who kvetch about other people who are kvetching make me want to retch.

I got to smile
thinking about you listening to his radio show
how did that come across your field of sensation
did you stumble on his show while fliping channels
or changing stations
did you read it on the net
oh well what ever
but I almost laugh to think you intentionaly sought him out just so you would have something to kvetch about.
it is the second night of some old holiday
I vaguely remember from child hood
now my life is filled with new holidays every day
a discovery of a new one
Advent, never knew that was a holiday until to day

I tell you buddreau, sometimes I feel like I just got off the boat
First time I ever heard Lord Kitcher was today
So any way , some of the most fractious arguements ever broke out here in Doreen's salon have been about got dam tv shows. Norman don't know what he is missing.

Thinking about Obama as the Advent
I have it on good authority he is not the anti christ
and I don't think he mother was a Jewess so I don't have to worry about him not being the messiah.

He is just this guy you know
President of the galaxy.
The first president who was president before he got elected.

definetly a delete coming on.

Geoff Parson used to watch tv just to get pissed off.

I need light hearted
I need to kvetch about the rabbi who will kvetch about a christmas tree at an airport.

But I have not heard or read anything about him this year.

so I am sitting here wondering if you going to light a candle for the jam or sit here and kvetch about the darkness?

oh yes it is good egg nogg
rum and burbon and brandy
and bitter herbs
for my bitter heart

seasons greetings
happy holidays
merry merry

white outs on immigrant pass
white christmasses
white is a pretty got dam scary color for me
even the white background in this text box
leaves me feeling puckered up on my seat cushion
with a death grip on the keyboard
praying for Jesus
to let me sit like a Buddha
cool on my stool

like I said I need light
but not necessaryly white

And vast right wing confederacy of dunces is pumped for action
for the black man

I feel a submit and a quick delete coming on
maybe not

see if I can read it one more time with out retching
hells bells
leave it

I visit my parents regularly, every 2-3 days, and unfortunately they still like to watch Bill O REALLY? Otherwise he wouldn't be much of a factor on my radar screen. Yes, I suppose I did kvetch about his kvetching... Aaah, it was worth it though!

it was bitter but I enjoyed everybite 8)

What else can you do but enjoy it.

Speaking of families
mine is pretty blended
I have had some excruciating Christmases
But we are all so old now
I hope I will be on my best behavior this year
Though I dread being trapped in the kitchen by a ?

What the hell is an Xtian?
is that something like a christian
I could google it but I would reather hear your thoughts
if you should ever have the inclination to riff on it.
