That first article is stupid. A cop out. At least as I see it. Thanks for sharing, Jack.

Gotta leave the computer now... check in later.

Can't take the Wall Street Journal seriously since Rupert Murdoch's News Corp bought it.

thanks nazz, I appreciate that feed back very much. I thought so too, I suppose I should have more confidence in my opinions. My blood runs cold when I read stuff like that.

Strange factoid, apparently non citizens can not own TV stations or newspapers here in the US of A.

Even if the their cold, black heart still lives in Australia. That Rupert controls so much media worldwide, even PhotoBucket!

I was talking with an old friend the other day and Rupert's power came up... Faux News and his crew, including Glenn Beck and Hannity, and now Palin... performing for him. Making him buckets of money and of course their making money thru the constant fear attacks of the Democrats/Liberals, using the most powerful media conglomerate in the world, by accusing Dems of having a large "liberal media" behind them. And all the while Murdoch's media empire has the masses by their asses, with them believing everything he want them to believe using his power. Amazing!

well, despite the new medios law here in my city there are only two local newspapers with the same owner (a multimedios that also owns here two AM radios and several newspapers and other mass media in Mendoza..). One of the AM radios is one block from my dep., the other seven blocks away... there were 28 people fired between the two radios in the last days and the remaining workers are on a strike supported also by the newspapers´s workers... I´ll take and post some photos later!. Talking with a friend yesterday about it, I also noticed that I don´t know too much about the new media law (too many things here happening at the same time, it could be a full time job to be an informed citizen!! ). S-t. :I´ll read the link to your articles later, gracias for the tip!

I suppose I am nostalgic about newspapers.
Thanks for the reply V. I am not sure the articles are worth reading.
